### 5/5 — Life changing!!

I haven’t got a car at the moment and my cat woke up with an irritated eye. I was looking at spending over $50 in Ubers and potentially hundreds in vet fees, plus stressing out my cat. Instead I tried Dutch. Within 30 mins I had a productive appointment with a super nice vet while my cat lounged around like a happy loaf in front of the camera. Plus, knowing I have this service for a YEAR for less than the cost of one in-person appointment gives me an incredible peace of mind. It can’t replace in-person care for severe issues of course, but this is still an amazing value and resource for pet parents.

They get you for the “cheap” virtual call that takes a day or more to schedule and then charge crazy fees for pharmacy. They even charge you fees just to send the prescription to your pharmacy.  Choose a different virtual vet. This is a SCAM!!

### 1/5 — Not 24/7, Hidden Fees, Not As Advertised

👎👎👎  Not 24/7.  Not open on the weekends, not enough vets on hand to get a weekday daytime appointment unless it is a week out (good luck when your pet needs care or meds).  Had to take an appointment at 5:30 am.  Who the h$ll wants to get up for an appointment at that time of day because they don’t want to wait a week for an appointment?!?  Pets need care for a reason.  They need more vets to work with to provide the service advertised.  

Then the hidden fees: $5 admin fee just to enter a pet online when it costs them nothing, $25 missed appointment fee, & $5 fee just to place your prescription with them.  If you don’t fill a prescription through them, it is an awful wait to transfer it somewhere else since they make the company filling reach out to customer service (good luck) and won’t just give you a script.  Just to get a prescription with the Dutch delay, I had to wait a week to get meds and then because of the several day delay, my meds were to be delivered a week later than my appointment while on vacation and it was a refrigerated item.  When I placed the online script, the delivery date was acceptable.  Due to their delay, the delivery date was days later and I was out of town.  Total loss of money on the refrigerated prescription and delayed care for my pet.  Now I have to start over on a whole new script for double the cost.  Is this the quality of care you want?!?!  

This company and the entire process is a joke!  JUST GO ELSEWHERE!!!!  Very dissatisfied customer.  Services are misrepresented and very misleading to consumers.  It costs you more in the end and your pet is who suffers with delayed care.  👎👎👎

I thought it would be great to have telehealth for my dog who deals with allergies and frequent vet trips to manage flare ups. The appointment to get the call with the vet was great. However that’s where it ends. My dog needed medication and you have to order medication through Dutch. It has been 6 days and we are still waiting and no estimate of when we will be getting our medication for our dog. In the meantime his health is declining. They were not transparent in how long medication fulfillment would take and on top of that, they make you pay for an annual membership before you can even make an appointment. If they were able to deliver medication in a timely manner, this would be an amazing service, but I guess it’s too good to be true.

I have multiple pets and like most of us these days, money is tight. Dutch has been a lifesaver. The vets (I have seen 2 so far) are very knowledgeable, offer solutions that work, and make me aware of when it is important to follow up with a local vet and what to tell them. The meds I have purchased through their pharmacy have been priced competitively and arrive at my door pretty quickly (my in-town vet usually has the meds same or next day-Dutch has ranged from 3-7 days. I highly recommend this service-it is worthwhile with 1 pet and practically a necessity with more than one pet.

It's only my first appointment. It is handy and easy as it gets for an appointment. The kicker is when you need a prescription. They charge to $7 fee to fill through THEIR pharmacy and they will charge you a $5 fee to transfer each prescription to a different pharmacy. What a joke.  They say they price match but customer service is only available M-F. If the Vet is available their customer service should be available. My first appointment with the vet fell on a Saturday. If I went with their pharmacy the standard shipping is longer than a week. Their next shipping options start at $15 with no approximate shipping/arrival time. Really poor attention to detail and customer needs for a vet/pharmacy.
