As others have said this app is useless.  The heater connects to WiFi you follow the instructions and then the app takes you back to the start again.  Tried endless times and it just does not work.  Good job that you can use basic controls on the heater but a real shame that the more useful controls are unreachable from a truly useless app.

Never has there been a more frustrating, difficult and poorly designed app than this. 

Pairing your new device to WiFi is a near impossibility. Say your prayers, cross your fingers, sacrifice a goat and MAYBE it will pair. Or maybe you’ll spend an hour stuck in 3 minute loops waiting for a connection that never happens. 

I’ve got 6 Duux devices. 6. 5 whisper flex fans and a bora. Only 3 whisper fans will connect to the WiFi. I setup a special WiFi to meet all their ridiculous restrictions. But still it won’t work reliably. Why can 3 devices work just fine, but 3 fail completely?

C’est la loterie pour les générations de produit, j’ai récemment acheté un produit, et il est de la 1 ère génération… et la gestion de plusieurs applications c’est incompréhensible ça fait vraiment bricolage. Pas sérieux quand on vend des produits à ces niveaux de prix.

Quel dommage de proposer des appareils aussi efficaces et avant gardistes et à côté d’offrir une application aussi minimaliste et peu fonctionnelle !!!! J’attends la vraie MAJ depuis un an… que ce soit pour les ventilos ou les radiateurs, tout est à revoir au niveau du pilotage et de la programmation. Un vrai gâchis logiciel !

l’application ainsi que la création d’un nouveau compte ne fonctionne pas. Malgré la validation d’un mot de passe, la connections indique systématiquement une erreur. Sur le site internet ces exactement le même problème. J’ai essayé de renouvelé un mot de passe et d’utiliser une autre adresse mail croyant avoir fait une erreur , et la surprise il renvoie un mail qui indique qu’il ont reçu une demande de réinitialisation de mot de passe sauf que le lien renvoie sur la même demande sans jamais avoir pu créer un nouveau mot de passe. Bref un site internet a la ramasse et une application qui du coup ne sert a rien .
Alors oui ces du pas chère, et ont comprend mieux pourquoi !…
Je vais prendre un exemple que je connais bien ; celle de Dyson qui a part des tarifs à faire tomber à la renverse sur les series des ventilateurs connecté , il ont au moins le mérite de fonctionner et de durer dans le temps sans mauvaise surprise avec notamment des applications fluide et intuitive contrairement à ce gag de Duux ….
Bref ces ventilateurs Duux ont encore beaucoup à apprendre dès grand fabricant qui n’on plus besoin de prouver leur efficacité technique. 
Faire des ventilos ces bien , mais le reste doit suivre également et les avis que j’ai pu constater sur les souffleries Duux sont tous alarmistes.
Je vais me rabattre sur un simple modèle non connecté , pour souffler dans un bureau.

OMG so frustrated with this app I specifically bought this humidifier for its mobile app functionality but the app doesn’t pick up my WiFi (everything else in my home is connected to it ) . When you try to change country from Netherlands to register for an account the screen goes blank and nothing ! So disappointed

Frustrating the gen1 app keeps crashing . I have reloaded 3 times but get a blank screen after 1 use.  Frustrating too that my Duux heater - only 1 year old - does not work with the latest gen2.  

This also means the voice commands don’t work either

Nous avons jamais réussi à connecté en wifi le modèle North. Malgré plusieurs manip, services client, Tuto, forum. 
Rien à faire. 

Donc application et fonction wifi de l’appareil inutilisable.

Dommage que l’application ait du mal à envoyer les informations aux appareil, 
je dois réessayer d’éteindre au moins 5 fois avant que l’appareil, qui bipait la confirmation d’action.
certaines fonctionnalités manquent a l’appel, dommage, faut pas trop en demander, c’est déjà pas mal

Although they tell you this device won’t work with 5G, they don’t tell you to disable 5G on your router in order to connect this device to the Wi-Fi. You can re-enable 5G after you’re connected. Also, the app won’t look for a network, you will have to type in the network name. But the real reason this app gets one star is because you have to give it your personal data, such as location, in order to use your device?!? You can’t opt out of this.

I give up with the app, luckily the fan itself is great but the software is embarrassing

I’m now stuck with two apps for different Duux equipment. This app doesn’t support the newer models even though I purchased the Gen 1 less than a year ago. The equipment is Tuya based and the app is probably a skin. Don’t waste your money.

I bought the fan for it’s so-called “smart abilities”. As others have commented, connecting the appliances to the app is a thankless task. The timer seems to immediately time-out, even if you follow all the instructions. Don’t buy the fans if you want a reliable smart fan until they fix the software.

I used the app for my Duux Beam humidifier. I was worried after seeing all the reviews, but the app worked and connected easily. It also connected to Alexa so now I don’t have to use any remote or phone to control, just voice.

Like others, my humidifier would not connect, so frustrating. I have duo band Virgin Media, I believe it is possible to isolate bands, but I do not intend to try for fear of messing everything up. I cannot understand why the humidifier cannot connect to the 2.4g band, just bought security cameras and they had no issues. Disappointing! HOWEVER, I have since discovered that when trying to connect, walk some distance away from the hub and you will receive the longer distance 2.4g band and it connects!!! LATEST It had been working fine now for two months, but this morning I could control the unit by the app, but the readings on the app were different than on the unit! Eventually had to remove unit from wifi and reconnect. Now OK.

Shame about the app! If Duux could improve the functionality of the app, this would drastically improve the success of the hardware, so Duux hope you’re taking note!
I’ve the 360 heater which is smart, it’s connected and this app can set some very basic on/off schedules but it would be soooo much better if the app also had some additional features such as:
1. Timer option: to turn off the heater after a predetermined amount of time, eg 30/60/90 minutes or variable. 
2. Time check option: to alert user if heater left on for more than say 2hrs… just in case accidentally left on. 
3. Scheduled OFF option: to make sure heater is automatically switched off at say 9 am every morning (at present heater only has a combined On then Off option).  
4. App remembers: last temperature setting, rather than defaulting to 28deg each time app is opened. 
5. User alert: if the heater is tilted or unplugged.

Im an all in but ca be all out too. Since having solar I decided to have some of the heating units.  Issues being the app loses connection so o had 5 heaters none connected to the app so there all now unplugged and in the garage.  And told that duux is aware.   Never again. Save your money
