Läuft auch unter macOS im Fenster, hat dort aber Hänger beim einloggen, nach zwei bis drei Versuchen klappt es dann. ### 3/5 — Schlechter - sprich: gar kein - Support *2025-09-18* Ich mag die App eigentlich, aber sie ist unübersichtlich und hat einige Funktionen, die man wirklich erst erahnen muss: So ist die Vergabe von Tags z.B. über das „Teilen“-Icon verfügbar. Wenn man den Support kontaktiert und einfach nach einem Handbuch fragt, bekommt man gar keine Antwort. Sehr schade, dass Kunden, die wie ich ein lifelong-Abo abgeschlossen haben offensichtlich nicht mehr beachtet werden - an dem kann man ja nichts mehr verdienen. Das sowas zu Frust führt und zu schlechten Bewertungen und gar keinen Weiterempfehlulngen, scheint niemanden zu interessieren. Bei einer solchen Einstellung zum Kunden glaube ich nicht, dass der Laden noch eine glänzende Zukunft vor sich hat, von daher würde ich vor langfristigen Abos warnen. ### 2/5 — Could be perfect *2025-04-28, version 4.0.4* Updating collection in order to back up or transfer to other devices needs improvement. Ability to back up/ upload your collection fails more often than not. Can’t sync with iPad. Great upgrade, could have just as easily uninstalled it. Update: if I manually enter a disc, the “done” button is behind the battery/ signal/ cell strength readouts at the top of the screen. The cancel and done buttons are right underneath the time and signal bars. I downloaded the app to another iPhone and it’s the same. This app needs a serious update and needs to have iPhone XS support for larger screens. Update - still no update for iPhone XS Max!! Update - still no update for a year. I’m a collector, & in the last two years I’ve noticed that hugely popular titles are no longer appearing in search. It looks to me as though any DVDs which are no longer in production, (or have come out since the latest version which was SIX years ago), will not display in search results, & if you have an iPhone (possibly the same issue with other ones too) you can’t add a custom entry as the “done” button isn’t clickable to finish / add it in. Recently I tried to add Wayne’s World 2, given I’d added in Wayne’s World (1st) several years ago. Zero search results even not using a comma, using Wayne only, several other search versions to try to find it - zilch. Eventually I found an entry that was a 1&2 double feature, & that was the only way I could catalogue that I had the second one. Yet clearly, I had previously been able to easily SCAN the first one. Now I couldn’t even search for the first one. App owner - you cannot charge for an app that you are no longer updating or ensuring that older titles remain in. You also should understand that there could be legal issues associated with not keeping it up to date, people will have to go to another program, & spend who knows how long re-adding everything there, but most importantly, a lot use this for insurance purposes. Make a decision, either give people significant notice to start moving to different software & refund the cost they personally paid for it, or get your act together & start updating this, along with putting back in the older titles you have removed. Aside from that, you should not be charging for a DVD cataloguing app where WAYNE’S WORLD (as an example - household name movie across multiple generations), isn’t even searchable. Fraudulent. ### 1/5 — Do not buy, does not work anymore! *2024-06-25, version 4.0.4* I’m posting this in an attempt to gain developers’ attention, ever since server replacement in March due to sever issues, you can no longer update your collection from the iOS app. I’ve had this app for years and have built my collection to over 1200 titles, no way I want to start over, it’s been 16 weeks now, fix the issue or remove the iOS app from the App Store!!!! ### 1/5 — Unusable *2024-04-05, version 4.0.4* DVD Profiler will not let me update my on line collection. This makes this useless to me. I go to help and see many users have this problem. The developers refuse to fix this. I want this to work across my different devices. It does not. So, what’s the point. They have also revoked my access to the online database and demand a new fee to access whatever may remain there. I could never list them all in a short review, but I can tell you it’s the last movie collection software you will ever need to catalog your collection.
