I don’t think it would be too difficult to add support, considering how similar the devices are. Additionally, my LS-P2 recorder, which was quite expensive, stopped working through the USB port. Not only does the firmware no longer receive updates, but the smartphone control app is also not maintained. This experience makes me reconsider investing in such costly professional devices from this brand in the future. I might look for more affordable alternatives with better support and a more stable ecosystem next time. ### 3/5 — Gute App - leider unbrauchbar *2022-10-08* Eigentlich macht die App einen sehr aufgeräumten Eindruck. Alle Funktionen, die man braucht, sind schnell erreichbar. Leider verliert die App jedoch ständig die Bluetooth-Verbindung. Sobald man die App kurz schließt oder auch nur für kurze Zeit nichts damit tut (und iOS somit das iPhone sperrt), wird die Verbindung unterbrochen. Beim Neustart der App dauert es dann ca. 5 Sekunden, bis man wieder eine Verbindung zum Rekorder hat. Damit ist die App leider für die gedachte Funktion absolut unbrauchbar. Man muss immer Angst haben, eine wichtige Aufnahme zu verpassen weil die Bluetooth-Verbindung nicht mehr da ist. Ein Mitbewerber aus Japan hat einen ähnlichen Rekorder. Mit deren App gibt es dieses Problem nicht. ### 4/5 — Almost 5 Stars *2024-10-07* The app works great. I just wish there was an option to save the audio file to your phone directly through the app as well. ### 5/5 — Very Useful *2025-09-12* I use it with my LS-P5 and is very useful! I use it for Birds. I can simply wait the right moment and start to record while I record a video with my OM-1ii. Perfect!
