This app is an add-on to the pc_met Internet Service of Deutscher Wetterdienst and covers in this new version the following sections of the entire product range: − Current aviation weather summary for your area in Germany (in German only) − GAFOR Germany in map display − METAR and TAF (single reports, proximity search, routing) − Meteograms (IFR, VFR and gliding) for aerodromes and self-defined locations in Europe − Cross Sections (IFR, VFR and gliding) for flights in Europe − Weather warnings: • Aerodrome weather warnings for selected aerodromes in Germany • GAFOR area warnings: aviation weather warnings for GAFOR areas in Germany • SIGMET: warnings of potentially hazardous weather phenomena for the lower and upper flight information regions (FIR/UIR) in Europe − Low Level SWC Germany − High-resolution RADAR information (Germany composite and Europe composite) − Lightning information (Europe) − Satellite information (Europe) − Current weather observations in map display (visibility, ceiling, wind, weather, QNH, temperature/dew point and first layer of clouds) − Three-days forecast report for your area in Germany (in German only) − WAWFOR model forecasts (World Aviation Weather Forecast) based on the DWD forecast model ICON-EU for area Europe, for a forecast time range up to +78 hours (icing and turbulence up to +48h). Was aber sehr lästig ist, dass sie sich bei schlechten Empfangsbedingungen komplett zurück setzt, und man Disclaimers, Datenschutz Hinweise und Favoriten wieder neu anlegen muss. Das macht sie natürlich am Liebsten im Flug wo man es am wenigsten brauchen kann. Die neue App kann leider die eigene Position im Flug, oder auch in der Bewegung nicht anzeigen. Schade. ### 3/5 — Funktional aber Daten fehlen *2024-10-30* Die App ist schnell und gut zu bedienen, nur leider fehlt im Gegensatz zur Webversion Taupunkt und somit Spread im Meteogramm. Das wäre für VFR doch recht hilfreich und hoffe, das wird nachgereicht ### 2/5 — Immer noch „vergesslich“ *2024-08-29* Hier tritt immer noch das Problem auf, dass die App sich sporadisch zurücksetzt und dann beim nächsten Aufruf im Einrichtungsmodus startet. Alle vorherigen Einstellungen und Flugplätze müssen neu vorgenommen bzw. angelegt werden. Das ist sehr lästig, besonders wenn das zu einem Zeitpunkt passiert, an dem man während eines Fluges das Wetter checken will. Schon die einhändige Neueingabe von Nutzernamen und Passwort kann im Sommer bei thermischen Turbulenzen sehr schwierig werden. Wenn die Entwickler das Problem schon nicht in den Griff bekommen (und das seit Jahren), sollten sie zumindest eine Export-/Importfunktion einbauen, damit man die Einstellungen sichern kann… **Developer response:** Sehr geehrte/r Sergeij, mit dem neuen Update der App DWD FlugWetter wurden Bugs behoben und die Performance verbessert. Die Darstellung in der App ist welche es nun statt dessen gibt ist unbrauchbar ### 1/5 — Die Ablösung von jtt ist gründlich misslungen! *2024-05-18, version 2.6.1* Es gab ein gutes System mit hervorragender Nutzerschnittstelle und interaktiver Grafik .... ### 1/5 — Schlechtester Anmeldeprozess jemals *2023-12-05, version 2.5.1* Nach 4 Tagen mal endlich das Passwort erhalten - funktioniert nicht. Wer denkt sich so einen grottigen Anmeldeprozess aus? Mal wieder repräsentativ für Software made in Germany. Außerdem sehr fragwürdige Umgehung der Apple Provision! ### 1/5 — Kaum Funktionen und nach Updates immer alle Einstellungen weg.. *2023-07-21, version 2.5.1* Nach jedem Update sind alle Einstellungen/Flughäfen weg. Graphische Aufmachung wie von 2008. Kaum Funktionen, kein Vergleich mit pc_met. Die App ist echt nicht gut und die Entwickler scheint das seit Jahren ähnliche Feedback der Nutzer null zu interessieren.. der DWD kann sich’s offenbar leisten. Schnelle Verbesserungen liegen auf der Hand und wären einfach umsetzbar. Unfortunately weather summaries and 3-day forecasts are only available in German. Ich würde mir nur wünschen, dass man sich noch die Meteogramme und die Dämmerungszeiten, welche es auf der Webseite des DWD gibt, in der App angucken kann. ### 4/5 — Soweit ok... *2022-11-01* Mir fehlt vor Allem noch eine Prognose der für die Sichtfliegerei wichtigen Wolkenuntergrenzen in der Kartendarstellung.
