My hope is that the Amplified Bible which is my favorite Bible translation will be added. Why do most religions refuse to use the name of the God and father of Jesus…. It’s just like Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-24 that most who called him their lord would not be saved…they would be on the broad road to destruction…why…cause as he told the Samaritan woman in John 4 because they don’t know who God really is and do not do the will of Jesus father Jehovah…. Satans primary tool is religion…by hiding the name of almighty God Jehovah…. There is literally no option to cancel. I’ve Googled it and read support articles and tried on different days in case I somehow missed something the first day. “Support” got back to me in days with either a bot answer or a very stupid human saying merely “We think you’re looking for our app! Here’s our link!” and nothing else. This is a scam, it is slimy, and they are committing fraud. Emailed them again. If the support I got an email from was human, I hope she gets fired. I don’t even know what to do now. Also, they update the app CONSTANTLY so you can’t even plan to use this unless you’re always data- and battery-ready for a gigantic update. Let me explain. All the voices are wonderful but it’s hard to stay engaged because they all sound like they are trying to sound wonderful instead of reading a story. Their tone never changes. If they read more like reading a story with changes in tone and inflection and a change in emotion it would be so much more engaging. Imagine how much more impactful if when King Saul is angry the reader was angry or when Jesus was angry and turning up tables the reader sounded angry!! To read with the emotions of the story would not only help the listener to really understand the gravity of the particular part of the Bible being read but would almost certainly keep them engaged longer. I’ve been using this app for just a little over 2 months and it has changed me spiritually forever. I’ve listened to both the old and new testaments twice now and I’ve read much of it as well. This app is so easy to navigate from book to book, easier than flipping through pages while at church. I love the background music. It has a feature to switch off the audio reading and just have the music playing. Many times I play just the music while I’m praying or just sitting still in God’s presence. You don’t always have to listen directly from scripture either. The Daily Essentials and Devotionals have amazing prayers as well. I hope this app finds many more non-believers and impacts them the way it has for me.
