I had accidentally let the free trial lapse without checking compatibility with my sonos speakers, I was really disappointed to find that I couldnt play the app sounds at all on my sonos. Unfortunately when I open the app it forces me to pay for premium anyway.. My husband and I are on some what different sleep schedule. ### 2/5 — Can’t connect to speaker! *2026-01-24, version 2.0.28* I’ve been listening to the 12-hour Dwellspring podcasts on spotify for 4 years, and recently decided to try out the app since I love the deep brown noise sound machine so much. Although the app is nearly flawless, it does not give me the option to connect the sound machine to my speaker, which is how I listen to my brown noise while I sleep. Very disappointing. It disengaged the timer and alarm features. Deleted the app instantly and going back to the podcast. Time and time again I have listened to a sound in other machines that I wish was a tad more low or high, but this app allows me to adjust AND/OR ADD other frequency’s or characteristics. It may seem silly but I highly value the customization to reach better sleep. Got the app to my disappointment it’s a paid app. Very disappointing. I’ll just continue listening through the podcast as it’s free only downside I need internet but will manage. ### 1/5 — Constant crashing *2026-01-05, version 2.0.27* Nice concept poorly executed ### 1/5 — Messed up my sleep bad *2025-12-12, version 2.0.26* It cut out 4 times through the night to tell me to subscribe when I already paid for the subscription. After trying to pay again it says I’ve already paid. Then cut out 2 more times through the night to tell me that I need to subscribe again. After the 3rd time I paid for the yearly subscription thinking maybe tha will fix it but it cut out yet again. I even deleted and reinstalled the app and it’s still cutting out. I’m trying to recover from a traumatic brain injury and that night it did that was crucial for my recovery. It’s so scary not being able to fall asleep till 6 in the morning and only getting an average of 4 hours of sleep a night for 3 months, while my energy levels are so low that my career is in decline. I thought I could rely on this app. They say “Rest Assured” but no it’s more like “pay us more money so we can mess up your sleep more” ### 1/5 — No Sounds *2025-11-28, version 2.0.21* I installed the app and ran it. The app loads fine but none of the sounds play. When I tap a sound or mix, I just see a spinning icon in the play bar. No sound. I’ve tried, adjusting network settings and restarting my device, but nothing helps. Should be zero stars if a sound-generating app doesn’t generate any sounds. ### 1/5 — APPADVICE SCAM *2025-11-28, version 2.0.21* Downloaded the app because it offered free lifetime with APPADVICE. The code once inputted said “code expired” in the app and would not grant me the free lifetime subscription. How can you trust an app that does not honor its promos. They have included sound machines, meditation modalities to lower potential anxiety impeding sleep, psycho acoustics, guided imagery, other sleep apps, sound therapy in the form of Theta Auditory, Gamma and White, Delta and Pink, Brown and Green frequencies, etc, all with minimal effect. I discovered Dwellspring from AppAdvice. I downloaded the App and was unable to activate the App: my own confusion. I contacted the App Developer. I must admit this is a game changer! I’m cautious in evaluating products and research, test and evaluate with care and am conservative in my opinions. Re: Dwellspring In short I must admit this App simply works! I’ve found it to facilitate my ability to fall asleep faster. The App does exactly what it says in the App Description on the Apple App Store. It is highly scalable and flexible to meet a user’s needs. Add to that the issue of Developer Support which is highly and rapidly responsive which increases the user assurance that support is available for any user questions and/or issue. I am extremely impressed. The App Developer responded quickly, was highly knowledgeable, patient and walked me through getting the App to work. Additionally, the Dwellspring team support their App with updates! Way above what either I could have hoped for or expected. I’ve read other user comments and am in accord with their reviews. If you’re seeking an App that has everything included, is scalable and works: seek no further. Dwellspring is it! I’m happy to offer a five star rating and wish I could offer more.
