One is very frustrating and the other is more of an inconvenience. My first complaint is that the communication with the heating and cooling system is unreliable. I will tell it to switch the temp from 70 to 68 and I wait but it never switches. I now set the temp close out the app and come back to see if it took. My other issue is that the boot up screen is bright white and when I go to adjust anything at night I’m blinded because that screen doesn’t respond to black out mode. ### 1/5 — Meh *2025-12-11, version 3.2.3* Works about 75% the time, half of the time. It stays buffering on the screen, searching for networks for hours and shows nothing. Over the past few years, only the door lock has worked. I was never able to use the app for the lights for more than a few days after I moved. At least the door had a code, so I didn’t need to carry keys. Now I’ve moved to another unit, and the door doesn’t work at all. I’ve called several times, and the support is terrible. No one resolves the issue… they say I’ll receive an email to schedule service, and it never comes. Awful customer service and poor technology. It never connects to the internet and zero WiFi networks come up after waiting minutes for the app to search. And I thought it was such a cool, new add on to have in my new apartment. Cuz I’ve never had a system like this before, so I was excite to use one. But this app is genuinely disappointing. It constantly crashes. Never connects, yet my WiFi & connection is just fine. I thought it’d be cool to have a system where, if I want the a/c turned off but I’m in bed & too lazy, I could use the app to turn it off or on. But no, I constantly have to play with it, turning the on & off button on the app, for it to SOMETIMES finally connect & finally do the command I was asking. I’ve tried sending multiple messages waiting days in between, and have yet to receive a single response from anyone. Is genuinely impressive how bad it is. Love it. Lights. Thermostat. Door entry. I really like just using the phone at at night while I’m bed to raise or lower the temperature. And I just integrated with Google Assistant and that works great too. ### 5/5 — Minimalistically decent *2026-05-21, version 3.2.3* Just moved into a new apt that came with Dwelo functionality 04/2026. This is my first experience with smart home features and so far it’s been all positive. I would recommend some changes and updates to the app such as more customizable shortcuts and Face ID (or equivalent) to access the app & keypad code for added security & ease of access combined. Besides that I’m satisfied she’d haven’t any issues mentioned in the other reviews. Mia was extremely knowledgeable not with just setting up my system, but with the multiple questions that I had for her afterwards. Mia was extremely polite and patient with me. It was such a pleasure to get somebody who took their time and genuinely explained everything without hesitation or frustration. I can’t thank you enough for helping me set everything up and making me feel secured. Changing the rating since the fixed it so fast. Their support team also responded to my email quickly. I just downloaded 3.0.2 today and it still does not work.
