## What is DXC ConfidentID Authenticator?

With the rising use of mobile devices, multi-factor biometric authentication is fast becoming an accepted method for enhancing security and preventing identity theft and fraud. 

However, choosing the right set of biometric factors (such as voice, face, palm and fingerprint recognition), finding the best system, and continually maintaining it can be a major challenge. Many organizations are looking to add biometric security but aren’t sure where to start or how to roll it out to large groups of users.

DXC gives your organization quick access to a powerful combination of biometrics, passwords, one-time codes, public key infrastructure and other techniques to help you focus on areas of the business that need higher security. ConfidentID as a Service will give your organization greater certainty over traditional authentication methods such as passwords, PINs and one-time-password token key fobs. ConfidentID as a Service also gives you greater flexibility. Standard authentication factors with ConfidentID as a Service include:
Face
Voice
Fingerprint
Palm
Blink/Liveness
Location

This solution provides dynamic security levels, enabling you to set higher authentication requirements based on your company’s risk management policies for accessing data or performing high-value transactions. ConfidentID provides real-time fraud analytics, not alerts based on incidents that occurred in the past. Your organization learns about potential fraudulent activity as it occurs.

1) A user will not be asked for location collection permission until he/she registers. When a user registers, he/she will be asked for location collection permission if the registration policy asks for location collection. If the registration policy does not ask for that, a user will not be asked for location collection permission.

2) The Users view was changed to show system name and user ID all the time.

1. Added access to DXC ConfidentID user agreement covering license agreement and data privacy information, which is self-contained inside the app and does not link to anywhere outside.

2. Added the capability to do per-user reset on the client side. Go to 3-bar menu -> Users, press on a user, slide to the left to reveal the Delete button, and then tap on the button. You need to obtain a new QR code to register again.
