## What is Dying Soon?

Dying Soon - Screen Time Focus & Memento Mori

How much time do you have left?

Stop mindless scrolling. Face your mortality. Dying Soon is a screen time app and app blocker that uses Memento Mori to help you cure phone addiction, stay focused, and remember what your time is worth.

【FEATURES】

◆ App Blocking
Choose the apps that steal your time. When you try to open one, Dying Soon puts a memento mori block screen in the way: pause, breathe, remember that today is finite.

◆ Screen Time Focus
Use app limits and schedules to interrupt doomscrolling before it becomes your day.

◆ Death Countdown
Real-time display of your remaining years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds. Every millisecond reminds you: time waits for no one.

◆ Life Grid
Visualize your entire life as a grid. Red squares are years gone, gray squares are the unknown future. Switch between years, months, and weeks views to see your life from different perspectives.

◆ Treasures - Wisdom Collection
Unlock profound quotes about mortality as you use the app. Collect wisdom in three tiers:
• Common - Everyday reflections on death
• Rare - Wisdom from great masters
• Paroles - Timeless teachings from ancient scriptures

Unlock quotes through daily use, notifications, milestones, and flash moments.

◆ Push Notifications
Set 0-10 daily reminders to keep death's shadow ever-present.

【PHILOSOPHY】

The ancient Romans said: Memento Mori (Remember you will die).

This isn't about fear—it's about appreciation. Only when you realize life is finite will you start taking each day seriously.

"Not only greedy, but naive" — if you think you'll live to 80.
Death makes no appointments. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

【WHO IS THIS FOR】

• Chronic procrastinators
• Phone addicts
• Those searching for life's meaning
• People who want change but lack motivation
• Everyone who will eventually die (that's everyone)

Download now. Start your countdown.

Because you are dying soon.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.2 — 2026-09-28

Unlock right from the block screen.
• Blocked apps now show a Temporary unlock button. Tap it, then tap the notification to take one breath and choose how long.
• The in-app Temporary unlock button is bigger and shows how many unlocks are left today.
• Tapping Return now always counts the hour you reclaimed, even for apps blocked by category.
• The block screen follows the language you chose in the app.

### 2.3.1 — 2026-09-25

Fewer choices, less friction.
• Block Now is a fixed 30 minutes: one tap, nothing to decide.
• Temporary unlocks: pick 5, 15 or 30 minutes.
• A calmer Reclaim tab with less on screen.
• The life grid always opens on years.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-09-25

Less, but sharper.
• Free forever: one scheduled rule, plus unlimited Block Now sessions.
• Just two tabs: Reclaim and Countdown. Your life grid now lives in Countdown.
• Time Stones are gone. Every 2 hours you reclaim unlocks a new quote.
• Temporary unlocks last a fixed 30 minutes, with a heartbeat haptic while you hold.
• A new Pro page you can read at a glance.

### 2.2.1 — 2026-09-16

A simpler start to your first focus session.
A cleaner Reclaim page and clearer Pro purchase options.
Improved purchase conversion measurement.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-08-28

Reclaiming your time now takes one tap. Blocking the apps that eat your hours is a single button — and if Screen Time permission is missing, the app walks you through granting it instead of quietly failing.

Time Stones seal sooner, the first one after just two hours reclaimed. Sealing a stone and unlocking a quote now share the same ceremony: light slowly condensing out of the dark rather than a flash. The block screen and the upgrade page follow the language you chose inside the app, prices included. Plus small refinements and bug fixes.
