The initial game is a great learning tool to the insane community maps. Then to top it off you can make your own map and see how others do and what they thought. Only one thing I would like wold be maybe a different level that is part of the game , even thought the communities are great. Any noise you make will draw guards attention. The guards also have the same insanely limited cone vision from the Mgs series. This is cool because it leads to moments where you barely skim by their vision to make it to the next spot. The game is insanely long for its pricing and has added replay value from its challenges. These challenges make you mix up your playing to meet the style of the challenge. The only issue I can see is that the game is hard, especially on smaller devices. It is really quick about getting you back in the game but if you have a short temper you'll be back here giving it a one star with lies about its bad controls or whatever your impotency leads you to say. Unplayable. ### 1/5 — FIX CONTROLS!!!!!!! *2012-07-06, version 1.0.17* #1.Enable the fn controls so i can TURN OFF THE line drawing because it ALWAYS accidently comes on even when you dont want it too. How could you overlook such a simple thing? All games give you a CHOICE of ONE control scheme NOT both schemes on the screen at the same time so you inadvertently use them both. The game is difficult enough as it is and then when you actually do make progress the WRONG control scheme is accidently used then you die causing you to lose all your progress because you CAN'T TURN IT OFF IN THE OPTIONS. Graphics are sharp and crisp and the 'theme' of the game is well thought out in terms of holding your interest in 'wanting to see more'! My 8-year-old grandson enjoys it, as does his old granny. (He's not to the slashing gorillas yet, and I wish you would lose the blood. It's the only unpleasant aspect of the game.) Also a very convenient save system, really helps with a Mobile game. ### 4/5 — Finally, a good stealth game on iOS *2012-10-17, version 1.0.22* With an emphasis on stealth, and a healthy challenge in the form of time and enemies, this game can keep you engaged for hours on end trying to find the quickest and safest route to the end, without being spotted. You can use your bombs to distract or kill enemies, which can put a whole other spin on finishing the levels. Plays excellently with the iCade 8-bitty, re-mappable controls and total remote control once the game is launched. Highly recommended to fans of stealth action games. ### 4/5 — Good Game. The original levels are a great intro to the game, but the community-made levels are what keep me coming back. Some of them are diabolically clever and exquisitely constructed. When I compare the small cost for this app with the hundreds of hours of gameplay I’ve got from it…it’s the best deal ever. ### 5/5 — Perfect. *2014-01-12, version 1.0.22* This is an easy 5 stars and I don't even play stealth games. If you love Waking Mars you'll love this too because a big part of this game is exploring also. Perfect controls. 99% of the time I find something to deduct a point for because I'm critical on things being perfect but this was flawless. I suggest using the joystick opposed to the finger guiding because it worked better for me. Hope to see a part 2.
