Which is fine - if it works. Just doesn’t scan the cards like it’s supposed to? Is there a planned fix for this? **Developer response:** If you are struggling to scan Topps cards within the app please ensure you have downloaded the latest version and allowed camera access to the Dynamos App. You can do this within your phone’s settings on iPhone and Android by following these steps > Settings > Apps > Dynamos App > Camera. If this is still not working please reach out to our customer service team. ### 1/5 — Lack of teams and card scanning doesn’t work *2021-06-26* I’d love to give this a higher rating but the ‘scan your Topps cards’ feature doesn’t work, and my child has no idea who The Hundred teams are. When asked for his favourite team he wanted to pick Derbyshire, but there are no county teams to select from. This comes across as a cheap attempt by the ECB to try and sell The Hundred to kids rather than a genuine attempt to make an interactive cricket development app for children interested in cricket. Please, drop The Hundred branding and concentrate on cricket in all its forms as an all-inclusive and diverse sport. ### 1/5 — No county teams.... ludicrous *2020-05-16* Asking me to select your favourite team from a competition which doesn’t exist. Well done ECB so out of touch ### 1/5 — The app makes no sense it asks you to pick a non-existent favourite team *2020-05-13* Ok, the hundred isn’t happening this year, but the ECB are deluded enough to think there are fans of teams that don’t exist? Why not offer counties, which haven’t quite been killed off yet, and do actually exist and have played games and have a history and players, as favourite teams to choose? This is a difficult time but also it’s the ECB’s chance to admit they made an honest mistake and to start investing in the community based teams they are meant to represent. Start by dropping the apps forcing kids to choose junk-food sponsored fictional teams before using them. ### 1/5 — No teams to choose from *2020-05-13* Downloaded for my daughter, but when asked for her favourite team Durham isn’t on there for her to choose, and she couldn’t work out why. Only offers teams for the hundred, all of which have never played a game and the closest happens to be a hundred miles away. She wouldn’t press an answer so couldn’t get into the app and doesn’t seem bothered now. ### 1/5 — Favourite Team names a fake? *2020-05-13* Downloaded this app and again have been asked to pick a favourite team that doesn’t include my local county team - Worcestershire. Decent looking app but strange that the ECB haven’t let us all pick out favourite teams. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2020-05-13* First screen doesn’t render properly on an iPhone meaning I can’t move past the first screen. ### 1/5 — Favourite team? *2020-05-13* For some reason it asks me for my favourite cricket team but they are just made up ones? I don’t know where they are from, I thought the ECB would be able to afford to use the rights for the proper clubs, like Warwickshire and Yorkshire. I am sure the rest of the app is quite good. ### 2/5 — Doesn't work *2026-05-02* Downloaded purely to scan the cards. It didn't. But at least the ECB are trying to find ways to bring cricket to more kids. Edit to Dev response: it's the latest version as just downloaded and of course I have given camera access. The app can't bring the codes into focus / doesn't recognise them. From forum research it seems Devs need to tell newer iPhone to use the ultra wide camera to enable macro mode, otherwise it uses the standard lens which makes the QR code too blurry to be read **Developer response:** If you are struggling to scan Topps cards within the app please ensure you have downloaded the latest version and allowed camera access to the Dynamos App. You can do this within your phone’s settings on iPhone and Android by following these steps > Settings > Apps > Dynamos App > Camera. My son is 5 and is far too young to be able to play this app - so why send it through? Surely you can capture just those registered on Dynamos?
