## What is Dynaudio Control?

Now, you can control your Dynaudio Connect with our new Connect Control app. 

The Dynaudio Connect is a wireless transmitter that streams music directly to the second generation of the Dynaudio Xeo system or the recently introduced Dynaudio Focus XD series. The Connect streams music digitally in up to 24 bit / 96 kHz.

The Connect Control app is the perfect companion to any Dynaudio Connect system: use the app to turn on and off your digital loudspeakers, control volume, change and rename your inputs, control your multi-room setup, or mute the system – all from the comfort of your iPhone.   

When you launch the Connect Control app, it scans your WiFi network and connects to your Connect box. Now, you can control your Connect box straight from your iPhone. 

With the Connect Control app, your digital Dynaudio system has never been more convenient or accessible. This is where your digital loudspeakers, connect box, and iPhone truly come together.

### 1/5 — Schlecht und funktioniert nicht

Mittlerweile funktioniert die App bei mir (iOS 17.7.1) überhaupt nicht mehr. Findet die Lautsprecher im WLAN nicht, obwohl sämtliche Verbindungen bestehen und auch funktionieren. Ein Firmware Update geht auch nicht. Wirklich sehr enttäuschend diese App! Wenn man das Digitale bei der Lautsprecher Entwicklung - ich besitze die Focus XD 30 - so herausstellt, sollte die App dieses Leistungsversprechen ebenbürtig erfüllen. Das tut sie überhaupt nicht.

Bei jedem Start der App muss man durchs Setup damit der Dynaudio Connect im Netzwerk gefunden wird. Abgesehen davon ist die Usability echt schlecht: die Lautstärke geht oft versehentlich auf Maximum.

Ich nutze die App schon länger mit einem Dynaudio Connect und einem Paar Focus XD 60. Der Klang ist super, die App primitiv und unzuverlässig. Seit dem letzten Update, das Verbindungsprobleme lösen sollte, habe ich Verbindungsprobleme! Nach jedem Öffnen der App, muss ich mich einmal durch die Konfiguration hangeln, bevor ich Musik hören kann. Das ist bei 10.000 € Boxen eine Unverschämtheit, ebenso wie die chaotisch organisierten Support-Seiten des Dynaudio-Internet-Auftritts. Die Firma braucht einen Neuanfang in ihrer IT.

Update: Seit einer Woche gibt es ein App-Update, mit dem nichts besser geworden ist. Ich verwende das aktuelle iOS - testen die das nicht? Unglaublich!

Die App ist wirklich unterirdisch schlecht. Seit ios16 geht mal wieder gar nichts mehr. Mit jedem Start verliert die App die Verbindung. Und das jetzt schon seit Wochen bzw. Monaten ohne das es ein Update gibt.
Dynaudio ist offensichtlich im falschen Produktsegment unterwegs. Die Lautsprecher mögen gut sein. Die Bedienung und die App ist katastrophal schlecht. Ich bereue den Kauf inzwischen täglich.

Confusing controls which don’t match the controls on the physical remote. Also tends to adjust the volume to a low maximum so that it has to be reset on the speakers with the physical remote. Please fix this, as the physical remotes are always breaking...

Completely mysterious. I don’t think it doesn’t work, but honestly unless you are persistent there is no telling what any of the buttons mean. 

Also - not clear if this controls the hub or the speakers. I would say the hub

Für einen Premiumhersteller wie Dynaudio ist die App zu wenig. Das Design ist unterirdisch und kann mit dem der Lautsprecher nicht mithalten. Funktional lässt die App insofern zu wünschen übrig, als man durch einen unbeabsichtigten Fingertipp die Lautsprecher voll aufdrehen kann. Das könnte man besser lösen. Insgesamt sehr schwach gelöst.

In the past week everytime I open the app it looses connection and needs to find the Connect again in the network. Its annoying and I hope there is a fix on firmware soon. 

The app is also connecting with the speakers with delay so I am never sure the input is accepted by the speaker.
