### 4/5 — Food Truck Lover

*2016-06-06, version 1.3.7*

This is a great app, and I understand it is a start up app, but it's more for sit in restaurants. I would love to be able to put food trucks on my dysh feed and give them the attention they deserve. Hopefully with a new update that will be an option.

### 4/5 — Great app, would love additional features!

*2016-06-04, version 1.3.7*

I am a huge fan of what the app is trying to do, but there are definitely things that could make the experience better. I would love to be able to like a dysh from the explore page without having to click on it. It would be nice to have a restaurant or dysh wish list, to keep track of places and things I want to try. Maybe later, when there are most dishes reviewed, it would be nice to see a restaurant's average rating. Great job so far!!

### 4/5 — Great concept, fun, improvements needed tho

*2016-05-25, version 1.3.7*

I love the concept of this app. It's fun to post on and see food from restaurants from all around world. But it could use some improvements. For some reason it will randomly tag some my posts to a restaurant in Texas (when I'm in FL). Would like to be able to update the location but can't?

### 4/5 — Almost great app!!

*2016-05-22, version 1.3.7*

Love this app, just needs a little TLC. Uploads don't always make it up onto the site. I take the pic and click the button, but don't see it up there. So take pics and save them so you can do them again if you have the same issue. Missed out a couple great pics since they weren't saved.

### 4/5 — The app that every Foodie needs

*2016-04-30, version 1.3.6*

This App is a great idea! Perfect for when you travel to a new place and want to try out local spots. There are definitely some tweaks needed here and there like editing comments made or adding locations that aren't geotagged yet. But overall a great project!

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2016-04-22, version 1.3.6*

This app is awesome! The only thing is.. I would like to add a new restaurant, but it doesn't give me the option. It's fairly new and I just want to add the location and name, but it will only let me choose whatever is close, or available.

### 4/5 — Nice but keeps crashing.

*2016-04-20, version 1.3.6*

The app is nice. Except mine keeps crashing when I try to post a pic. I've updated, uninstall/reinstall and still I can't post. Other than that it works fine.

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2016-04-18, version 1.3.5*

I love the idea behind this app and the people behind it... But it sure does crash a lot. And now all of a sudden I can't even log in. I'm getting app notifications, but I'm unable to log in. I click on the Facebook icon, and it does nothing. Please fix! I would love to enjoy this app more.

### 3/5 — This bug needs to be fixed 😁

*2016-04-18, version 1.3.5*

I love Grace, Hannah, and Mamrie, this was an amazing idea for an app and I love it but there's a bug with this app where I can't even upload a picture bc it consistently crashes right after I choose the picture from my camera roll and I see that it's obviously not happening to everyone but I noticed that other people have mentioned it in the comments as well

### 4/5 — Great, but could use some improvements

*2016-03-20, version 1.3.4*

I love the concept of this app. I've been having trouble connecting my twitter to find people to follow though. Also, I'd love if you could post pictures of homemade food too and not have to add a location.

### 4/5 — Would be great if you can view price range

*2016-03-18, version 1.3.4*

I'm really enjoying this app so far and I'm sure once more people join it will be come even more useful. I'd really like it if there was a simply way to show the price (or range) and possibly a way to list what's in it besides the description.

### 3/5 — Some improvements and ideas

*2016-03-17, version 1.3.4*

I don't know if it's because on 4S(yeah I know but you know capitalism) but filters and enhance option don't work which is whatever because I edit on other edits uploading anywhere anyways (ew). I do wish it had the option of saying or tagggingthe photo that it was home cooked? That'd be cool.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waiting for update!

*2016-05-05, version 1.3.6*

I took great photos of food and I was so excited to share my pics until I searched the location and no searches came up! Is there a way you can update your locations? This has been a problem for me a few times already. I've also noticed that the quality of my photo drops when posted on this app. Hoping this can be fixed soon!

### 1/5 — Can't create an account

*2016-04-24, version 1.3.6*

I tried with two different emails to create an account but it said there was already an account with that email (even though I never opened the app before) and when I tried to sign in with the emails that "already had accounts" but the app crashed. Also I couldn't go through my Twitter either.

### 2/5 — Dysh app server

*2017-08-22, version 1.41.2*

Seriously, what's up? No access to the server suddenly? Come on guys! Additional: with the new update the issue's been fixed

### 2/5 — Needs some serious work

*2016-04-30, version 1.3.6*

Great concept, but not very good in practice. Why would I want to open up my feed and see what people 3000+ miles away are eating? Why is there not a simple way to browse through what people are eating in my area?? Makes no sense. I want to like this, but it's not well thought out at all.

### 2/5 — I want to love this!

*2016-04-04, version 1.3.5*

This is a very cool app! Instagram and Yelp smashed into one app. BUT it needs ALOT of work unfortunately. The search tool is just awful. I gave up on three reviews because I couldn't find the businesses. Even when I write the business name into the search it takes a lot of tweaking to get the place to show up. Also I want to post more than one picture for the same business at the same time which is not possible. Lastly there needs to be more dysh details available to choose from. Once this app is updated I will start using it more.

### 2/5 — Nice idea but...

*2016-04-03, version 1.3.5*

You need to be able to add your own restaurant, not just choose from a list. Also, if you've already filled out your rating and comments, it's VERY frustrating to have that all blanked out if you need to go back up and fill in the restaurant name! I love the concept, will continue to use, but there's a lot of things that need work.

### 3/5 — Want to review my food

*2016-08-18, version 1.3.7*

I know a large part of this app is helping other people find new restaurants in the area, but most of the original marketing that I heard from Grace, Hannah, and Mamrie was just an alternative to Instagram for food pictures. I loved the concept, but was immediately disappointed as I usually cook on my own. I like how it works, I just wish there was a homemade option. Other than that, good app.

### 3/5 — Tough to use

*2016-06-24, version 1.3.7*

The app is a good idea & concept but the user interface is really confusing -- I accidentally delete a post or have to start all over before posting. When viewing others' dyshes at restaurants it doesn't take you straight to the original post and it's hard to find the profile. There's a lot going on that makes it hard to move from one feature to another.

### 3/5 — Great App, but a few suggestions

*2016-05-10, version 1.3.7*

I love this app and it would get five stars if I could use it more then when I go out. I've been to a couple places that the geolocation doesn't recognize or can locate the restaurant using the search function in the app so I haven't been able to post. I wish there was an option that didn't make you use the geolocation tool for restaurants. I also wish there was a way to post food that I make or friends/family make for me. I'd use it a lot more if I could post my own stuff, good and bad.

### 3/5 — Great potential!

*2016-04-28, version 1.3.6*

I honestly never review apps but I need to say this! This app has great potential to become very popular but a few things need to be fixed! First the app crashes a lot and that's not fun. Second I would love to search restaurants in different cities not just specific places! Other than that I love the concept!! :)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — LOVE the concept, but they need to improve

*2016-06-20, version 1.3.7*

This is a super fun app-- like IG for people who just want to drool over food. There are some updates that they need to come out with though(app crashes occasionally, notifications don't go away sometimes, hard to find people in my area), but I'm sure eventually they'll get it worked out.

### 5/5 — I...think I'm in love...

*2016-05-02, version 1.3.6*

I am in love with dysh. It has come a long way. I use it everyday and love every minute of it it! I love dysh and all of its creators. I can't for the life of me figure out how to post something I've made or if that is even possible but it doesn't matter, because when you are in love you are willing to overlook the flaws. :3

### 5/5 — Everyone please use this! Best food app ever!

*2016-04-11, version 1.3.5*

I've been using this app since they launched in Nov 2015 and it's the best app out there to celebrate food! Their new explore tab is amazing! Just view food all day! Also in my area, LA, I've noticed more and more restaurants have dish reviews and it's really easy to find something good to eat. Ignore all the bad reviews. They are about people just wanting features or morons who can't use a simple search or figure out how to post something. The app doesn't crash. Never happened to me or all my friends and I know about 20 people using it now. Check out all the reviews, it's a better representation. Simply get this! It's the evolution of exploring and finding out what to eat at a place and being part of a food community!

### 5/5 — I Love This

*2016-04-09, version 1.3.5*

This app is the best idea. A way to find a great restaurant easily according to real people. The app is super accommodating to mobile, unlike a lot of apps like Yelp, and much simpler. Plus, your always guaranteed a picture of the food.

### 5/5 — Better filters, please!

*2016-03-30, version 1.3.4*

Great app, which I love to use, however I do think it could use some better filters. In addition, it keeps crashing and I would recommend some sort of update. Despite this, I think Dysh I great and I only wish more people around me used it!

### 5/5 — Super Rad, but only for restaurants

*2016-03-21, version 1.3.4*

After hearing the buzz surrounding this app, I was excited to give it a whirl, starting with home-cooked meals that I wanted to share. BUT, this app is more like Yelp! with an Instagram format. You cannot post anything without marking a restaurant on Foursquare. It does have a really great interface and is easy to use. If you want to post home-cooked meals, stick to Instagram; if you want to rate local restaurants or show-off your travel food, give Dysh a try.

### 5/5 — love it, & v proud of the girls

*2016-03-18, version 1.3.4*

i first downloaded this app when chester started tweeting about this 4 or 5 months ago, thinking that it was just grace and chester being paid to advertise it. i loved the concept then, and thought it was such a cool idea, and really needed. now that i now that hannah, grace, ingrid, and mamez are actually responsible for the app, i love this even more and i sincerely believe this is a really great idea, and hella useful.

yelp meets instagram, but for food?

### 5/5 — This app is FUN and EASY to use!

*2016-03-17, version 1.3.4*

Dysh is a fun way for foodie-wannabes and lovers of food (aka all humans) to showcase their good eats. Instagram meets Yelp/Zomato without the long, negative rants. Dysh is about the FOOD! Only issues are: it does crash on occasion and I wish I could edit the "Dysh details" after posting. I need to make some corrections! Also, what is it used for if users can't see it?

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2016-03-17, version 1.3.4*

I absolutely love the concept of the app. It's exactly the kind of app I've wanted for so long but just didn't know it. My only complaint is that it crashes a lot. So as soon as they figure that out, it will be perfect.

### 5/5 — Honestly way more useful than I expected

*2016-03-17, version 1.3.4*

This app is like clap-on lights. Do I need them? No, not really. Am I able to turn the lights off without them? Yeah I guess. Did everything get way effing easier once my friend convinced me to get them? Hell yeah.

Dysh combines the shameless artistry of Instagram food pics with the shameless honesty of Yelp reviews so you can find the perfect burger or spicy tuna roll in a way that makes you say "ohhh pretty" while doing mental (or literal) grabby-hands at your screen.
