### 1/5 — Not what expected

*2023-07-24, version 1.2.7*

You log in, get a password, download a bunch of stuff and THEN tell you to pay $80 to take the test. I suspect dyslexia in my son. Just wanted a chance to see if testing and talking about dyslexia is the right choice. This app doesn’t help. No way to delete your account once you have done all these steps either.

### 1/5 — False advertising

*2023-03-13, version 1.2.7*

Got the app for the dyslexia screener, but once in the app, it costs $49.00! Delete!

### 1/5 — Dyslexia screening test app

*2023-02-28, version 1.2.7*

So incredibly stupid! Won’t let me sign up because my name has to have all English letters. My name is all English letters! Still won’t let me sign up! Stupid!

### 1/5 — You pay

*2023-02-09, version 1.2.7*

Be prepared to log in, give your personal info and be ask to pay $50.

### 5/5 — Saved My Life!

*2022-11-05, version 1.2.7*

Because of Nuro life I finally have the answers to 30 years of struggle!

### 5/5 — Finally some answers

*2022-09-01, version 1.2.7*

This process has been a great experience. My son is 12 & going to the 8th grade. I’ve homeschooled him from age 5 until now. SO much struggling, sadness, frustration & anger over the years! We realized my husband is dyslexic as an adult, so when my son wasn’t learning to read, I knew something wasn’t right. This test & report are so worth it!!! Also the personal emails are wonderful
! I’ve learned so much from this experience. I feel like this year is going to be so much better!!

### 5/5 — Invaluable Gift

*2022-07-28, version 1.2.7*

If you or your child struggle with academics and can’t figure out exactly why, this is the best place to start! My daughter is entering fourth grade and has been struggling in school since kindergarten. So my husband found Neuro Learning and she scored 100/100 for dyslexia. Her school does not test for learning disabilities so this app test is invaluable! It’s easy to use and you get a very comprehensive report pinpointing the areas of concern and a direction to go. I also took the test because I was curious and scored a 42, showing some reading comprehension deficiency, which I have struggled with my whole life. I received personal emails from the CEO and what a kind, professional and helpful man he is.

### 1/5 — 4+ a lie

*2022-04-21, version 1.2.7*

Says the app is 4+ in the App Store but when you go in to the app all the tests are 7+ and the dyslexia text is super expensive. Cheaper to go have a screening and pay insurance copay

### 5/5 — Absolutely excellent!

*2022-04-10, version 1.2.7*

This app is amazing! An absolute treasure for anyone struggling with reading, spelling, or writing.

When my 9-yr old son’s assessment revealed an unusual pattern, Dr. Eide emailed then called with personalized explanations and advice for the way forward! He identified which resources and strategies would be our best plan of action. This kind of clarity about my son’s developmental trajectory is invaluable.

This affordable, accessible, and accurate assessment for dyslexia is an outstanding accomplishment! I am so grateful!

### 5/5 — 🤩 Quite Fun and Extraordinarily Helpful

*2022-03-07, version 1.2.7*

I have read all the testimonials thus far and I wish to augment what has not been stated already by prior reviewers. In my amateur opinion, the NeuroLearning.com test app should be taken by everyone who is curious, as it is highly illuminating. Even if one has never suspected they might be dyslexic, there could be useful and actionable information arising out of the one-hour time spent playing the game-like test. In terms of cost, the app is at least 100 times LESS expensive than getting a professional assessment. Be skeptical of everything I say, as one should. Do the fact checks. The doctors behind this app are preeminent experts, the cost of the app is NOT about playing the game (i.e. the dyslexia assessment), but access to their expertise. It is not surprising that the resulting risk assessment from the app is highly accurate. To the would-be test takers, I know what you may be thinking, I have been there and am just incredulous about the result. I needed time for it to sink in. It’s going to be a long process. To the concerned parents, I too have been there… and I am giving my unwavering affirmation that this is a far better FIRST STEP than waiting in the queue for an official assessment by a licensed professional, to the tune of thousands of dollars per assessment, multiplied by the number of children. To all the experts and educators out there, I believe we need to look at this stuff more. Think about how many hours of testing we put our students through standardized exams, why not a Neuro Learning game, too?

### 1/5 — WTF.

*2026-01-05, version 1.4.2*

BS.

### 1/5 — App Crashed

*2026-01-04, version 1.4.2*

I tried taking the sample test but just got an error screen

### 1/5 — Dyslexia test

*2024-07-10, version 1.4.1*

This is just an ad! The test is $79.

### 1/5 — Costs $80 to test after they get your info

*2024-04-21, version 1.3.2*

Submitted personal info, then told its $80 for the test.

App crashed when I tried to examine a sample test.

Waste of time and privacy

### 1/5 — Tests didn’t work

*2024-03-18, version 1.2.9*

Tests didn’t work error message given

### 1/5 — AVOID!!!

*2024-02-28, version 1.2.7*

Only after you sign up, which is annoying because it doesn’t recognize English, you are hit with a surprise “$80.00usd” cost to take the test…..or take 4 free surveys , which benefits the admin not the user. This app is geared for institutions or companies NOT anyone wondering if they have dyslexia! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!

### 1/5 — Screen for Dyslexia…cost $99!!!

*2023-12-28, version 1.2.7*

I downloaded this app hoping for some help in figuring out if and how dyslexic I am (pretty sure I am cause I was diagnosed by an occupational therapist at my school)😕

Anyways, I realized quickly that they wanted a bunch of money to see if I have dyslexia…a cash grab from people’s with disabilities…yea, that’s never been done before😏😏😏

Anyways I’m glad I signed up with apples “hide my email” feature, cause last thing I’d want are these greedy people to have access to my email address so they can sell it for more money🤑🤑🤑

I know no everything can be free and people work hard, especially developers…but I know this better than anyone and still think it’s a low move to not be more understanding of peoples’ hardships and stuggles…not everyone can afford to give their 7 y/o this test, and honestly they’re are trained professionals around who would charge a similar price to find out if you or your child has Dyslexia🫤

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ll probably stick with the professionals for now…at least they’re covered by my private medical plan😮‍💨

Kay, that’s what I have to say and I hope it’s helpful for people who want to give this app a try but don’t want to type their email address in just to see what the app looks like (or costs!!!)😆

### 1/5 — Beware. AFTER they have your email THEN you find out the rest you were baited with is $80

*2023-09-17, version 1.2.7*

I don’t really rate but I felt so duped I felt the need to. The name says dyslexia test but once they have your email because it’s not optional then and ONLY then do you find out that the test the free app baited you with is $79.99 and these other tests are all that’s free.

VERY disappointed. Would never recommend to anyone. If there was an option for less than one star I would. I feel downright scammed.

### 1/5 — The app is very slow and vague.

*2023-09-16, version 1.2.7*

In the end the charge is $89 and it’s not clear what you are getting. Also, if you are dyslexic is is difficult to understand and use. Just all around terrible.

### 1/5 — Do not download.

*2023-09-03, version 1.2.7*

Did not at all provide the information promised in description.

### 5/5 — Incredible tool that helps support parents

*2023-04-23, version 1.2.7*

This app came recommended to me by another parent after I expressed concern that I suspected my 7-year old was struggling learning to read even though his public school said he was reading at benchmark. This tool, along with the proactive advice from its CEO (Dr. Eide), confirmed my suspicions that my son’s school is using reading curriculum that is inappropriate for his learning needs. Thanks to the resources, insights and suggestions in the app’s resulting report, we are now on the right track to helping my son (using the free Bookshare service, incorporating audio books, echo reading with him, and getting my son tutoring support using curriculum appropriate for those with dyslexia.)

He may eventually need a neuro psych, but in the meantime, the neurolearning.com report is a valuable data point we are using with his school and pediatrician to add credibility and weight to our concerns and influence his school to better support him. Thank you, Dr. Eide, for developing this app to aid parents on what can be a confusing journey when a child is struggling with learning to read.

### 5/5 — Incredibly helpful!

*2023-04-06, version 1.2.7*

I was so happy to quickly find this app when I suspected my son may be dyslexic at the beginning of this school year. Very affordable test with very thorough results issued afterwards - including recommended accommodations. Dr. Eide’s follow up and fast communication has been impressive, too!

### 5/5 — Immediate results and personalized follow-up from a dyslexia expert!

*2023-01-31, version 1.2.7*

This app gives immediate dyslexia screener results with remedial recommendations for only $50 and very helpful personalized follow-up from Dr. Eide himself! We have wondered about the possibility of dyslexia for our 7-year-old, second-grade daughter due to some of her reading, writing, and speech articulation challenges. We investigated neuropsych evaluations, and they cost up to $5,000 and have either no availability or wait lists that are 9+ months out. We didn’t want to wait that long to start interventions, and we found this app to give us some data. The screening test took about an hour, and it had an animated fox that guided our daughter through different games/activities. Immediately, we found out that she scored in the very high dyslexia risk category, confirming many of our suspicions. Our daughter already has an IEP at her school for speech therapy, and we shared these test results with the school, along with our concerns, and the school psychologist is going to perform an evaluation, which saves us thousands of dollars and the wait time. Dr. Eide corresponded with us over email to help us understand our daughter’s results and give us personalized advice on next steps. Her screener result also enables her to have free access to bookshare, a very large library of books that can be listened to on text to speech readers. Overall, we are so impressed and grateful to have found this app. A sincere thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome Resource

*2023-01-21, version 1.2.7*

This test is the perfect screener for dyslexia. Not only did it help my son identify his likelihood of having dyslexia, but the developer of the app reached out to us to help provide us with additional resources. Such a helpful tool in a process that can otherwise seem daunting.

### 5/5 — Invaluable and a true game changer.

*2023-01-17, version 1.2.7*

Having my children do the test and receiving a comprehensive feedback in a way that I, a non technical person, can understand has been invaluable. The follow up from Dr Eide and his recommendations and guidance for each of my children has been a game changer in our homeschooling. Also, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in the past year or so since I’ve implemented these changes. Thanks Dr Eide and keep up the good work🙌🏼

### 5/5 — Excellent Screening Tool

*2023-01-10, version 1.2.7*

We are a private school and have been using this APP for a few years now. It has been tremendously helpful to us in providing a way to screen students who are struggling in school for possible dyslexia with an affordable and easy to administer screening tool.
We have also been very thankful for Dr. Eide’s prompt personal responses, recommendations and help by email. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

### 5/5 — Totally worth it

*2022-12-10, version 1.2.7*

I am grateful to have found and used this app. After doing the test in the app, I received a detailed report quickly and a follow-up email from Dr. Eide. Thanks to Dr. Eide, I came to learn about the resources for people with dyslexia, such as voice dream reader and bookshare.
Without this app, I wouldn’t be able to understand the condition that has been affecting me for long. Now, I can fully enjoy reading. Thank you very much to Drs. Eide and everyone who maintains this app.
