Main features of this storyboard app -You can use various functions by switching between 3 modes. 1st View • A function similar to the storyboard style, inputting characters such as writing, and inputting the number of seconds -You can draw from the moment you make a cut on the screen with the drawing function similar to Japanese storyboard style. -You can use the keyboard and copy and paste to enter text and text. -You can enter or directly specify the number of seconds with the stopwatch function. -You can freely specify the drawing size when using PAN, TB, large format, etc., and the size of the drawing area will increase according to that specification. This is true, insofar as you need to subscribe to access the 30 day free trial, and you pay nothing until the trial ends. I dunno: personally I think it is worth subbing for the trial and so that is what I have done. And if it proves to do what I think it can, it will be worth the £8.99 per month. So, what can it do? The functionality is fairly simple, which is just as well because there is no documentation and no tutorial. So you have to work it out for yourself. But once you have - and it really isn’t too hard - it is pretty straightforward and I’ve had no difficulty creating my first storyboard. So it loses a star for the lack of guidance on how to use it, but I am happy so far that it is doing what I hoped. Finally, it keeps a fairly high score because it has a free companion app that helps export storyboards into Da Vinci, which I am using to edit the video. I have yet to trial that, but if it works as advertised, this is a fairly powerful tool for relatively little money and will save me time as I go. Get the free trial, have a play, set a reminder to review your subscription if you’re worried it won’t deliver. But let’s not leave 1 star reviews because we’re too lazy even to sign up for a 30 day trial. Would it be nice for the developer to remove that obstacle to the trial? Sure. And I don’t doubt they would have better take-up of the app. But it’s not hard to manage your subs, and the reward is something simple and effective. ### 1/5 — Not free *2023-08-16, version 1.4* Requires a subscription, shouldn’t be listed as free software. Disappointing, as it looked like a good app, but fails to be useable. ### 2/5 — Very promising but missing fundamental functions *2023-06-27* Lot of potential but things like the eraser need to be improved significantly. As of right now it only erases entire strokes instead of pixels. The size and placement of the eraser are also not visible with a cursor so getting it to erase the strokes you want is a pain. The ability to select strokes and move them around would also be a nice to have feature. The app does a lot of good but needs some more time to develop the functionality ### 1/5 — Shouldn’t be listed as free *2023-03-24, version 1.4* If you download this then know that it’s completely useless unless you buy a subscription service. ### 1/5 — Must subscribe to use! *2020-07-18* Sadly this app doesn’t give you a chance to use it without a subscription. No free trial! This app is utterly useless without making monthly or yearly subscription!
