Now it is mostly small black text, which is a big improvement. But for some reason there are still parts that are light grey text. Which is such a weird design decision for usability. Maybe they could add some options like dark mode or something. I am a trades person so my thumb print doesn’t work well so I open the app and unlock via my phone… which could be fast if I could unlock the door from my Lock Screen or just when my phone is near by (that would be preferable) ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2025-01-08, version 2.3.0* I have E-LOK series 7. I dislike this product and wish i never bought it. It’s used at home. There is no easy way to lock it manually from the inside. Thought for a long time that lifting indoor handle was a lock function. Eventually figured out to hold # on the outside keypad. Unintuitive for visitors who of-course don’t have the app. Why should they? I think it’s a failure if a door needs an instruction manual for basic functions. Not that I could find this # function mentioned anywhere in the instructions !!! No easy way to be sure if it’s locked without opening the door and testing the outside handle - I have trouble trusting it. Tried Passage mode-that was very annoying eg bbq with friends and guests suddenly getting locked outside, repeatedly. App is ok. But avoid this product ### 4/5 — App colour scheme is terrible and hard to read & where did the widget go when i updated to iOS 18? *2024-10-06, version 2.3.0* The control centre widget is gone with iOS 18. ### 1/5 — Apple Homekit or Google Home please. *2024-08-31, version 2.3.0* App is stable and easy to use but it would be great to Apple Homekit or Goggle home to allow integration with Smart homes. Also would be nice to see on E-lok homepage that door is locked using colour, like red for lock and green for unlocked.
