## What is e?

Smartphones have become an integral part of our everyday lives. It goes without saying that e-motion also makes full use of the benefits of this technology. The e-motion Mobility App is divided in three sections.

The free section provides you with four pre-set driving profiles that influence the driving behaviour of your e-motion. You can also display the current speed, mileage or charge level on your smartphone and even record and save tours via GPS. 

In addition the app informs you about eventual errors and helps you to solve them. It shows you how to properly use the e-motion and the app helps you to prepare when travelling. If necessary you can also update the software of the e-motion wheels via your smartphone.

You want have both hands free while moving or an extra dose of speed to go faster? With the Mobility Plus Package you can activate a variety of clever additional functions in the Mobility App. 

With the Mobility Plus Package you can increase the support speed from 6 km/h to 8,5 km/h and benefit from the Cruise Mode that allows you to keep a permanent speed of your wheelchair with only one deflection on the push rim. This does even work on uphill and downhill slopes.

In addition you can use all functions of the ECS remote control on your smartphone and remotely control you wheelchair for parking. Moreover the Mobility Plus Package allows you to count the amount of pushes during a recorded tour. All this gives you even more from your e-motion!

In the protected professional section you can individually adapt the driving behaviour of the e-motion. The following parameters can be adjusted: Maximum speed, maximum torque, sensitivity of the sensors as well as the ramp-up and follow-up time.

Paying another $85 to get the wheels to the same speed as my previous Alber Twions is an MBA bro move that I’ll make sure people know about. Then I get to pay again with the next set, like I’m renting? 
Left wheel drops connection throughout the day, and the remote control feature is too weak to turn on my carpet.

**Developer response:** The purchase is linked to your Apple account. As long as you keep using your account you can use the extra speed also on another set of e-motion wheels

Mittlerweile ist die App wirklich gut und läuft stabil. Auch der Verbrauch ist okay, wenn man nicht gerade eine Tour nebenbei laufen lässt. Generell ist die App halt für einen kleinen Kundenkreis und daher überdurchschnittlich teuer. Die Funktionen sind für meine Bedürfnisse sehr hilfreich, allerdings bevorzugte ich eine Art Fernbedienung am Rollstuhl für eine schnellere Eingabe oder schnelleres Umstellen. Da es recht umständlich ist, immer erst das Handy heraus zu holen nur um den Modus zu wechseln.

App ist soweit in Ordnung. Ich würde es als sinnvoll sehen, wenn man zum entsperren der Reifen Per Code Eingabe. Noch die Funktion hinzufügt es per Face ID oder Gesichtserkennung die Räder freizuschalten. So wie es heutzutage bei sämtlichen Apps üblich ist. Es würde Leuten vereinfachen,Die in der Handfunktion eingeschränkt sind.

Die App ist eigentlich in Ordnung … aber es gibt Sachen, die ich nicht verstehe, wie zum Beispiel: Warum wird die gesamte Tastatur bei der PIN-Eingabe angezeigt? Bei der PIN-Vergabe zur Kopplung der Räder nur der Ziffernblock? Wäre es nicht sinniger, diesen auch dann bei der PIN-Abfrage einzublenden und nicht die gesamte Tastatur? Gerade in Bezug auf eventuelle motorische Einschränkungen des jeweiligen Benutzers ist die volle Einladung der gemmten Tastatur eher ein Hindernis bei der PIN-Eingabe …

This app is garbage.  If it worked it would be amazing.  But my left wheel never connects so i am unable to change sensitivity or any other functions. Fix it!!

**Developer response:** Please contact your dealer regarding this issue. There might be a problem with the Bluetoothmodule of the drvie wheel. The problem is most likely not related to the app.

The left wheel used to fault several times per day. Hasn’t happened since this last update, so kudos to developers!  Only issue now is the on/off button for cruise control is too small. It is difficult to touch such a small area of the screen while moving, especially when someone decides to walk in front of me and I need to quickly slow down. I suggest a big “STOP CRUISE” button when in use.

Ansicht ist die Alber eine sehr tolle App, schade das die Cruise App nicht funktioniert, selbst wenn man dafür bezahlt😭😭😭.

Dann nutze ich lieber die Fernbedienung.
Die App lässt sich gut bedienen jedoch lassen sich die interessanten Funktionen nur über in Appkäufe teuer aktivieren. Der Anbieter sollte sich überlegen, ob er nicht Kunden, die bereits eine Fernbedienung haben, dann die App Vollversion kostenlos zur Verfügung stellt.

App disconnects from wheels multiple times throughout the day. Sometimes it won’t reconnect unless I manually restart each wheel which is difficult as a quadriplegic. Also, the pay to “upgrade” is silly, I should be able to use all features of the product I paid for. 
I also wish we could adjust specific parameters like sensitivity, motor duration etc like the M15’s. I do like the mile tracking, speed tracking and overall layout of the app. But PLEASE fix connectivity issues it’s already gotten me in some tough situations where I couldn’t start up my wheels again while out.
