But it's such a pity that the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps are all quite separate with no syncing of content/settings between them. For example, notes/highlights added to one device require repeating a laborious backup/export/import workaround to be replicated on the others, which are instantly out of sync as soon as another note/ highlight is added. If you make a note on the iPad, you can’t read it on the iPhone or PC so each version is completely stand alone. The iOS versions have a few nice features (Strong’s & Maps) but overall everything e-Sword does you can get for free on the internet. The PC version is very “clunky” and I much prefer other resources over e-Sword but the iPad version is decent as a stand alone but serious study or note taking falls short. iPhone is more limited due to small screen size but with KJV Plus Strongs it can be an effective tool. I feel like I followed the add on instructions. Even engaged my IT friend to make sure I was doing things correctly. However the add on would not seem to show up in the app. I reached out four times for help. Their customer service just kept sending the same instructions each time. I guess I just gave my money to them for nothing. The reviews were great. Talked about all the FREE resources. However if you want different translations you have to pay. For example NLT is $14.99 NASB IS $20.00. You also have to pay for Amplified.
