Ever since i updated this app it keeps shutting down automatic .. Pls fix this issue ### 1/5 — Awful! *2013-08-07, version 1.5* A complete waste of money. I bought this app to use the E6B in manual mode and it does NOT work! The wind dial does not move, the pencil and dot function work around one try in 10 and the wind slider barely moves. The user interface is also very cluttered and difficult to navigate. Very expensive and misleading, despite some nice screen shots to allure you. Stay away and buy something cheaper. ### 4/5 — Powerful, intuitive E6b Calculations for ipad *2020-02-01, version 3.0* I am a student pilot who dislikes using handheld E6b calculators and instead loves the Gyronimo E6b Pro Pad app. It is quick, easy and intuitive and also allows you to visualize classical E6b flight computer calculations if you so choose. My favorite feature is the course plotter which instantly gives magnetic compass headings calculated using authentic isogonic magnetic variability. My only complaint is the city/airport location search bar, which in my ipad pro doesn’t seem to do anything at all. I’m hoping to update this through customer support. P.S. It would be a great addition if multiple winds aloft could be somehow entered to calculate optimal cruising altitude for best groundspeed. ### 4/5 — Graphical E6B Precision *2018-08-23, version 3.0* It appears there is a slight misalignment of the marks on the A and B scale. Or maybe it’s the display on my iPad. Checking simple conversions such as kg to lbs results in a small but noticeable error. Other than that, wonderful app. ### 4/5 — The app *2018-02-27, version 2.9* I’m using the app just recently. The first thing I noticed is that when you planning route you need to calculate each single leg separately. The app is not showing all the headings and times for all the route at once on one screen. This one future is missing in my opinion. Apart from this very helpful app. ### 4/5 — E6B conversion rings mismatch a little. *2016-04-10* On the conversion side (slide rule) of the Classic E6B, the outer and inner rings don't match perfectly across the full range of values so this introduces small errors for many calculations. This could present a danger for altitude calculations. Unfortunately this fault is likely to void the use of this rather good product for professional aviation. It takes a very complex set of calculations, presents them in a way that makes sense, and makes the user interface touchscreen simple. I really like the conversions that are visible at all times in the calculator screen. I've been using it for a while and I'm still discovering new features. The user interface is very intuitive. The animated E6B mode teaches you how to use the thing graphically, at least for me it's so much easier to learn it this way. The support for this app is excellent!! The video's that demonstrate how to use the app also teach you the process to set-up the calculations and complete the process.
