Crashes often *2019-11-23* I hope this app works when I actually need it! It crashes easily but does seem to login and look up my family’s id# properly. It crashes every time I try to add an emergency contact without any message. Without confidence that ALL features will perform as expected, it is not safe to trust the app to perform potentially life-saving actions during a crisis. Would you bet your life? Locks up or crashes with most attempts to use it. ### 2/5 — Crashes entering data *2019-10-22* When trying to enter data, e. g. Emergency contacts or medical information, the app crashes. Also trying to use Global Access the app crashes when trying to enter locations such as ‘is...’ or even scrolling beyond the B’s or C’s. In its present form some useful elements do work such as my ID Card and local information. It would be even more help if the rest worked too! ### 1/5 — Lousy app *2019-10-17, version 2.0* I just downloaded the app and tried to register. The app won’t recognize my membership information. It is useless if you can’t even get registered. ### 1/5 — Incorrect Embassy Locations *2019-09-02, version 2.0* One of the most important pieces of information is incorrect. Example - US Embassy location in San Salvador, El Salvador shows the Honduras location. Need to check information before posting ### 1/5 — Can’t use app *2019-04-18* This app is useless. Every time I open it and touch on My EA it shuts down. I have deleted and reinstalled the app many times and can occasionally get it to work one time before it shuts down permanently. Used American Airlines as t ad header but it has nothing to do with AA. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works fine *2022-02-24* It’s not particularly fancy but it does the job it is intended to do. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2021-09-27* Easy app to use that accompanies my EA+ membership. I can take my digital card on the go with me and there is one-click access to call the emergency line if I need EA+. I can also click to call the numbers on the back of the card in case I need to just call customer service when I don’t have an emergency. ### 5/5 — Great Emergency Companion *2018-05-17* Installed on iPhones (2) and iPads (2). It will be reassuring to have along on our next travel venture; even a day trip. Global access and currency work but the other menu items cause the app to close. Thank goodness I have the phone numbers in my contacts, if needed. In fact, the membership card appears in the app turned in landscape mode, which makes it difficult to read. App does not facilitate FaceID login.
