Your word now arrives in a part of the day rather than at a set time — morning, afternoon or evening. A time you pick can only be as punctual as the thing sending it, and arriving at 10:56 after promising 8:00 is a broken promise. Arriving at 9:12 having said "morning" is not. If you had already chosen a time, it has been kept.

The weekly "remember this one?" on the widget now ends once you've answered it, instead of asking again every time you tap. Tapping it shows you whether you were right, rather than setting you another test.

Plus the usual quiet work under the surface.

### 1.0.15 — 2026-09-04

Sharing your word now sends the card, not just the text. It was building the image and leaving it behind — so a share arrived as a bare line of text. The message also mentions that Eachday teaches Spanish, French, German, Italian and English, which it never used to say.

The word screen had two share buttons. It has one now.

Settings gains a Rate Eachday row, so you can leave a review whenever you feel like it rather than only when we ask.

Plus the usual quiet work: clearer wording throughout, and better sense of which parts of the app people actually reach for.

Pick Travel, Slang, Business or Medical and your daily word comes from that subject instead — on the widget and in the notification too, not just in the app. One at a time, and tapping it again returns you to the everyday word.

Each track is a course of 180 words that starts at its first word the day you choose it. Leave it to try another and come back whenever you like: it picks up where you stopped rather than starting over. When you reach the end, the everyday word returns.

Also fixed: the app sometimes opened on tomorrow's preview instead of today, and "Tell us something" in Settings didn't open at all.

A fix for anyone learning French, German, Italian or English: the widget preview screen was labelling your word as Spanish, no matter which language you had chosen. It now says the language you're actually learning.

The widget itself was always right — only the preview was wrong.

A reliability fix. A few buttons — sharing today's word, opening practice, adding your own word — could quietly fail to open their screen. They open every time now.

Nothing else changed. Your words, your practice and your daily word are exactly where you left them.
