## What is eAlert?

eAlert (єТривога) is a volunteer-based application that sends push notifications to your phone about threats in your chosen area or city in Ukraine. You will receive an audible siren alert from the app when an air raid, missile strike threat, or artillery shelling is declared in your city or region. The app also notifies about explosions and planned explosive works, as well as other critically important information.

The project operates around the clock thanks to the support of over 30 volunteers who work on a voluntary basis. We closely monitor hundreds of information sources to ensure prompt and accurate notifications. All alerts are sent manually.

eAlert (єТривога) was developed by Ukrainian IT volunteers in Poland and is not affiliated with any Ukrainian government institutions, including the Ministry of Digital Transformation or the "Diia" platform.

Якийсь вірусний додаток, з зашкварною кількістю реклами. Особливо це як знущання, коли чуєш постріли, а додаток не відчиняється поки рекламні банери не подивишся!

Чи не могли б розробники цього додатку вже нарешті зробити рекламні блоки на весь екран повністю, а інформацію яка мала б бути основною, тобто сповіщення ще меншими буквами, бо ще поки люди в яких є  вади з зором ще можуть прочитати, а то не діло.

While I don‘t live in Ukraine I use the tool to better understand better the impact of what the attackers do to the poor victims of the war. Getting the alerts for a city like Kiev for one day gives even people outside Ukraine an idea, what these alerts do to the individuals

Бували випадки , коли тривога вже хвилини дві або і більше, а вона тільки реагувала на тривогу . За дві хвилини ракети долітають а вона тільки попереджує про неї . Я так розумію що вона бере з чатів інфу . В чатах все чітко але вона зчитує інфу дуже повільно. Хоча рекламу туліти почали богатсько, тоб-то гроші на підтримку повинно бути !!

Волає дуже голосно, в додатку немає налаштувань, для того щоб ввімкнути «тихий режим». Про тривогу повідомляє пізніше ніж будь які інші джерела, як і про відбій. Дуже велика кількість реклами.

Летят ракеты, шахеды. Убивают людей. А это приложение показывает рекламу игры и тд и тп. Пи..ры вы.!

**Developer response:** Ми два роки з початку війни 24/7 працювали у волонтерському режимі, але надалі так продовжувати не в стані — це вибір між життям та смертю проєкту. Ми мусимо утримувати 30 членів команди моніторингу та 5 розробників. Реклама все ж жодним чином не впливає на отримання сповіщень. Сподіваємося на ваше розуміння!
