WHY??? Get rid of it! Also, when using app can only hear some words and the rest are garbled or not picked up at all. Was less than 20' away and there was no other sound or talking in the room. **Developer response:** Thank you for flagging this, and I'm sorry. You're right: that ad should never have appeared. The free version of Ear Assist shows ads through Google's network, and the content rating on our account was set too permissively. I've now capped it at a Teen rating, so ads with adult content are blocked. If you ever see anything like it again, please email info@overpass.co.uk with a screenshot and I'll block that advertiser directly. On the sound: Ear Assist amplifies your iPhone's built-in microphone, which is designed to pick up voices within a few feet, not across a room. At 20 feet speech will come through patchy. It works best with the phone placed close to the sound and headphones on, and with the equaliser set to boost the voice range. If you'd like a hand getting it set up, email me at the address above and I'll reply personally. Eric, Overpass ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2026-01-02, version 2.6* Randomly came across the app and figured WTH, why not? All volumes were turned up and explored the eq extensively and didn’t hear a thing no matter how close the source was to me. Doesn’t even earn a star, shouldn’t even have the option to rate it. The 1 it has is to just post this. ### 1/5 — Commercials & Google S %k *2025-03-17, version 2.6* Couldn’t hear anything and commercials every 30 seconds apart,,,, what’s wrong with you google passing junk like this?????? Thanks google for making America Great again!!!!! ### 1/5 — Bluetooth *2025-01-09, version 2.6* Bluetooth does NOT work at all ### 1/5 — Gibberish, nothing but electronic noise *2024-12-25, version 2.6* Worthless. All this does is turn noise into gibberish. Has no value whatsoever . Do not install!!!!! ### 1/5 — It’s free and *2024-12-13, version 2.6* I suggest that you add to your app a Bluetooth Finder, so people can use that to find the little earbuds that they drop and forget about. Also Wi-Fi locator Wi-Fi finder. And people on the Wi-Fi I’m connected to Wi-Fi receivers in the area. Also, are you capable? In general of even being able to create such a thing that find signals being sent continuously from one location and being able to identify as a characteristic of a camera ? I damaged my ears from extremely loud car stereo systems so I have tendinitis isn’t just minor so I’m trying to go with a good quality trustworthy app you can do better man go above and beyond. Well if your team is capable and smart enough and able to brainstorm into creation, the things that I suggested you cover every area. Keep your app with availability of purchase, but don’t sacrifice the quality of the free. Just add one simple little thing extra people will buy your app. Go to right away because I think it’s purchasing the app is better than the free app they already it’s a pre-programmed thought that we have as humans in the digital world. Thank you for your time. You can do better I Encourage you to be the best to you. Thank you for reading. I hope it wasn’t boring. Which idea that I listed for your team in app is impossible thank you I’m Nick. ### 1/5 — Kein Ton *2024-07-31, version 2.6* Aus dem Kopfhörer ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2024-03-15, version 2.6* How sad is this I can not get a reasonable sound to hear from the app and I see it has really mixed reviews. It seems like it is in need of some serious improvement. I wish it could be for me what it is for those who proclaim it to be so great. I will never understand ### 1/5 — Inutile *2023-12-07, version 2.6* Serve solo ad amplificare rumori di fondo e sibili Larsen ### 1/5 — Unfortunate *2023-11-21, version 2.6* I hate that this app didn’t do a thing other than force me to list en to static I want my money refunded!! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — it's free I love it *2026-10-16, version 2.9.2* Five stars for being actually free!! Would pay a one-time amount for that even. ### 5/5 — Tik tok *2025-09-23, version 2.6* Tik tok ### 5/5 — U can hear ultrasonic sound waves that humans can’t hear at all bye the human ear *2023-09-22, version 2.6* It’s like a special ear that can detect a ultrasonic bug repeller sound waves that bugs don’t Like to hear at all and they run away so it’s very effective at what it does detecting those sounds so it’s very good so yea really like this app and I recommend this app to anybody like me that would like to listen to invisible ultrasound sound waves and would like to hear them warning it’s super doper loud u will need to only test it for a few seconds and then turn it off it’s super freaking loud :) ### 5/5 — Appreciate *2023-09-14* You need the best hacker in town when it comes to hacking. He's fast and reliable. He helped me know how unfaithful my ex was when he hacked into he's phone... You can reach him on hightechcyber7 (gmail) doot com ### 5/5 — Accurate/perfect tracker *2023-06-01* Tracking suspected cheating wive and activities at work. However some great app couldn’t grant all access I needed to detect and catch my wife red handed in her deceptive ways. It all started when I had a suspicion on her with some recently inherited behavior like staying out late nights after work, being clingy to her phones and so on. I came to the internet to find a lasting solution to solve my marital problems. Thank God, faz came my way after checking through positive reviews , how he helped a woman catch her cheating husband red handed. I reached him via his mail at Flashcyberspy (@) gmailcom and he requested for certain info such as my spouses phone number and phone model. Within hrs I got a notification popped up on my phone it was from Faz. he gave me a spy link which I accessed with my phone web browser there I was able to see all of his texts, call logs, WhatsApp, Snapchat, deleted conversation, social media shared pictures and videos etc as if I got her phone in my palms. It’s really a great opportunity to use the services of Flashcyberspy (@) gmailcom, if you got similar issues right now I’ll strongly advice you write him for an excellent spying and tracking services. This is the most highly recommended and genuine services that works efficiently than the spy apps. You can tex him on at (plus one eight five six five seven five one zero seven nine) very awesome ### 5/5 — 15.7.5 *2023-05-31, version 2.6* Noyon ### 5/5 — Bad App *2022-09-26, version 2.6* This app insists that my iPhone memory is full and wants to direct me to an app to download and clean it …permission to suggest another app is not given ….I’m uninstalling …. Oh …one more thing…the send on this page is greyed out with only 1 star…so I’m giving the extra stars so this will be sent…if I could give it zero stars I would! 3 stars it won’t let me send… ### 5/5 — Pretty good! *2022-05-04, version 2.6* It works fine!
