I think it works really well and it’s great for a single person to be able to check their ears at home alone. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-09-19* The app will not join its own wifi. Followed troubleshooting directions several times. Do not but EarviewMD. Now I know why it was very inexpensive. ### 1/5 — Device and App stopped working *2023-06-11* As above, the device and App worked for a while, although a bit tricky to pair but now even the Eosera wi-fi doesn’t appear in my phone. So sad ### 5/5 — Worked well for me! *2023-01-12* I bought this device several months ago. I was easily able to visualize my right ear drum. My left ear was very dark. The reason I bought it was that I was not hearing as well out of the left ear and it felt like something was blocking the sound. After looking in my ear with this product, I assumed I had a wax buildup and used the Eosera products for cleaning the ear. This didn’t help me to hear better, so I looked again. Still clear on the right and like looking into a cave on the left. Because I still had a change in my hearing, I went to an audiologist. He looked and had to remove a part from my hearing aid that had come off and lodged in my left ear canal. The images from this device on the app on my iPhone can vary from very clear to blurry. When it was blurry I would have to remove the device from my ear and slowly start moving the camera into my ear again. The left side was harder, I think because I’m right handed, and possibly because of the shape of my ear canal. Sometimes I had to move the device around quite a bit to get it to focus. Sometimes it would focus on earwax and the camera couldn’t see the eardrum because the earwax lit up and the camera couldn’t focus on what was behind it. Sometimes the camera would freeze, or pause, and I would need to restart the Wi-Fi connection on the home page and start again. This device worked very well for me. I think, if you are very careful (you are extremely close to a sensitive area, after all) this device can help someone see, and possibly clean parts of the ear canal, if it isn’t too filled with wax. It might also help someone decide that they need to go see an ear doctor. Thanks for providing this product! ### 1/5 — Poor quality video and unreliable connection *2022-10-25* Like other reviews, connecting to the unsecured Wi-Fi for the device is quirky and unreliable. Several attempts were made before finally getting the device to align and work on my phone. Initial few minutes the video seemed very clear. The visuals into ear canal later seem fuzzy and a blur. Does not perform as I had hoped and wonder if the review submitted by the guy who identified as a doctor was authentic. I doubt the review and would be dissuaded to consider for this product. A return is in order. ### 1/5 — Ear View M.D. *2022-09-16* This “THING “ is a real joke… Paid almost $85 with tax at the CVS Rx. I followed all instruction according to the instruction, and I even uninstalled for times, and still I couldn’t connect to my iPhone 12 Pro - Max. Do you think my phone got a problem? Think again, I left a voicemail at that company, some homeless company that never returned the call. I wish I could give them NO STARS. Piece of garbage, correction… It’s a RUBBISH junk that’ll be returned back to CVS. I will even give my voice through Facebook. Just wait, and relax… Instagram will be right after… ### 5/5 — Saved me a trip to the ENT *2022-07-09* Be very careful when using this to not damage your ear, but excellent product. Purchased for $80 at CVS, already paid for itself in not having to go to a ENT specialist just to take out the significant amount of earwax I had in one ear. As a doctor myself I felt comfortable using it without perforating my eardrum and worked exactly as advertised. I am also pretty impressed at the picture quality.
