## What is EarBattle?

Think you have a good ear? Prove it — in real time, against someone else.

EarBattle is a head-to-head ear-training duel. You and your opponent hear the exact same sequence of 10 questions — intervals, chords, scales, or chord progressions — and race to identify each one correctly before your rival does. Speed and accuracy both count.

REAL-TIME 1v1 DUELS
Matched instantly through Game Center, you and your opponent get the same questions at the same moment, generated from a shared seed so nothing has to stream over the network — just pure, low-latency competition. Watch your rival's status update live: thinking, answered, right, or wrong.

SCORING THAT REWARDS BOTH EARS AND SPEED
• Correct answer: 100 points
• Speed bonus: up to +50 points the faster you answer
• Streak bonus: up to +50 points for consecutive correct answers
• Wrong or no answer: 0 points, and your streak resets

PRACTICE SOLO, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Not ready to duel a real person? Practice against the app itself, with three bot difficulty tiers — Beginner, Music Lover, and Virtuoso — each with its own accuracy and reaction speed. Works fully offline.

BOT LADDER TOURNAMENT
Take on all three bots back-to-back in a single run. Your score and wins carry across all three rounds for one combined result — sweep the ladder for a perfect run.

WHAT YOU'LL TRAIN
• Intervals — from unisons to octaves
• Chord qualities — major, minor, diminished, augmented, 7ths, and more
• Scales and modes — major, minor, modal, pentatonic, blues, and more
• Chord progressions — common functional progressions by ear

Whether you're a music student, a working musician, or just someone who wants to sharpen their ear the fun way, EarBattle turns practice into competition — no textbook required.

No ads. No data collection. No account required for solo play.
