### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2016-04-04, version 1.1*

It's the best ear training app out their my teacher and class uses it

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2016-03-11*

For an audition I had to o quickly learn scales and intervals and this app helped me to pick it up very quickly. Fantastic!

### 5/5 — Top notch app!

*2016-03-06*

Downloaded the lite and already impressed by it. Like the layout, very user friendly without reading tons of instructions to figure it out. Also like the progression of the exercises and already noticing the benefits to my training. Definitely purchasing the full version.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2016-02-25*

Just simply love it. I can practice my ear everywhere I go. On the train, in a bus, walking...it's like a luxury gym for my ears!!!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2016-02-17*

I'm considering upgrading to the full version soon because this app has been so helpful and handy.

I'm an absolute novice in regards to music theory and I have poor pitch recognition. Within an hour of using this I'm already developing a better base recognition of pitch and solidifying my understanding of fundamental chord and scale structure.

I believe that constant, prolonged use will definitely improve my pitch recognition drastically.

### 5/5 — Music to my ears

*2016-02-13*

Very good app. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to become a better musician or even to beginners.

### 5/5 — Best free ear training app out there!

*2015-12-20, version 1.1*

Tried a lot of apps. Free ones and paid ones. This one is far better than others!

### 5/5 — Très bonne application

*2015-04-12*

Ça permet de pratiquer l'oreille, outre les fautes d'orthographe (ce qui serait avantageux de corriger) je conseille fortement cette appli pour tous ceux qui nécessitent s'améliorer, soit en solfège ou pour les dictées musicales :)

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2015-02-22, version 1.1*

I love this app it is very educational and helpful

### 5/5 — Great App

*2014-12-29, version 1.1*

Amazing for ear training

### 5/5 — Music students!

*2014-12-01*

So helpful I used these leading up to my foundations of music assessments. Easy way to practise and of course you can access it anywhere. Good for those who dont have a piano

### 1/5 — App freezes on launch

*2017-11-29, version 1.2.0*

I downloaded Earbeater lite for the first time and opened it, and I haven't gotten past the orange-colored startup screen (though I am able to quit it by pressing the home button - it didn't freeze the entire device.) Repeated launches are no different. My configuration: iPod Touch 6, iOS 10.3.3, EarBeater Lite 1.2.0., AirPods. UPDATE: I was able get past the start up screen after turning the iPod off and back on again and re-launching. I will update the one star rating of this review after I've used the app for a while if it deserves it. UPDATE 2: The graphics don't seem to fit on the screen I can't change the exercises. Maybe this is an iPad app and not for use with an iPod touch? Giving up, sorry– Will try another ear training app.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2016-05-19*

Installs ok but it doesn't actually do anything other showing the splash banner

### 2/5 — T

*2020-01-21*

C’est très nul

### 4/5 — Very helpful

*2016-10-28*

A very good app that contains easy to understand and use exercises, with a nicely planned progression. Only downside is a display bug in the descending intervals, which I have reported but received no response for.

### 4/5 — Another thought

*2016-06-15, version 1.1*

It would be really helpful to be able to hear what an incorrect guess would have sounded like, to be able to compare and contrast. For example, if I chose m7 when Maj7 was correct, being able to hear the m7 AND Maj7 would help me avoid that mistake in the future.

### 4/5 — Glitchy but good

*2016-04-06, version 1.1*

Don't know much about music but this app sure seems to do what it says. There are a few drills that are supposed to play two consecutive notes but they only play one so there is no way to choose the best. Other than that it's great...especially for free!

### 4/5 — EarBeater Lite

*2016-02-21*

This app is a very good learning tool, it's more comprehensive than the other apps I tried!

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2015-12-04*

Only have the lite version, but it works well for ear training. There are quite a few exercises for a free ear trainer (some need the upgrade) and it's simple and effective. Hint: if you're using it on a phone, you can turn your phone to landscape view after you've answered to see a piano keyboard with the right/wrong answer. I just wish there was a way to select specific intervals to practice (ie. take out unison when practising 2nds and 3rds).

### 4/5 — Good for ear training

*2015-05-23*

Ha a few issues at the start but the app worked itself out and now works well:) great for ear training on the go.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2014-11-10*

It has worked well so far. Not sure I agree with the price; it's higher than a lot of music apps I get but time will tell.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2019-12-18, version 1.2.0*

I love this app. I use it for school. I have no problems with it at all - no glitches with anything, no sudden resets at all or anything. Works great. If I get an incorrect guess, it shows me what the answer was, then moves on. I like how it shows me my score when I’m done with each lesson, too.

### 5/5 — Good app tried many and this one is very good

*2018-10-05*

Moves to next screen after making a selection no need to press next in betweenness questions.

### 5/5 — Excellent App to improve listening skills

*2018-06-12*

It is wonderful experience while using the simple and very logical interface of the App to improve listening skills.
Be patient and in few weeks you will notice the improvement in your listening skill.

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-04-03*

I love it.

### 5/5 — Great little app

*2017-09-27, version 1.2.0*

Repetition is the key, and this really delivers. Very valuable skill, excellent tool!

### 5/5 — Great app in general

*2017-04-05*

Great little app. The only way to improve this app is to melodic exercises!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2017-03-23*

Been looking for an app like this. Easy to use and has a variety of exercises which I did not know exist at first. Great app!

### 5/5 — Super

*2016-12-21*

Très pratique pour se remettre en selle!

### 5/5 — Very well designed

*2016-09-06*

Well designed app which progresses at a reasonable rate with lots of variety. Many useful exercises.

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2016-05-19*

I'm just learning a lot of this so this starts at just about the right level. Would be nice if you could see when you've practiced but for a free app it does exactly what you need.
