HORRIBLE earbuds. Bluetooth connection is terrible. They almost never connect. Terrible fit too. They fell out of my ears. I was hating them and I was going to return them but then they fell out of my ear on a hike and I lost them. Waste of money. ### 1/5 — Embarrassing for the ‘original’ true wireless *2021-11-20, version 1.0.5* This has be one of the worst earbuds on the market right now. And at an insane price.Do not but these. They are miserable and a step backwards (I can’t even hear words in a movie I am watching on a plane). They talk a big game about being the first, and that’s about all they are first to market, but last to everything else. Especially quality. ### 4/5 — A better instruction. *2021-08-03, version 1.0.5* Hey guys, I was so frustrated like you feel and almost threw away after 6 hours of failing pairing. But I contacted the customer service and voila! It’s worked! Here is the info for you. Make sure you delete the Earin A-3 both of the Bluetooth list at your iPhone setting and the manage product menu in the app. 1. Factory Reset. Open the lid of the case. Push the button on the case for 15 sec. The case will start to blinking white and red rapidly. The earbuds will blink Red, Orange, and Green several times, and finally, all light will be off. Then close the lid of the case. 2. Pair them with your iPhone first. Go to the Bluetooth list at your iPhone setting. Open the case's lid and push the button for 2 sec then the blue light will be on. You will see two of Earin A-3 on the list. Click them and pair each. Both of them should be under My device. However, only one shows connected and the other is not connected But That’s right. Both of them are paired with your iPhone now. 3. Pair them with the App. Open the lid and run the app. DO NOT PUSH THE BUTTON OF THE CASE. Just wait until the app connects to your earbuds. If the app can’t find your earbuds, close the lid and open again or close the app and run again. It should show the popup asking you to pair the earbuds. If the popup is show, click the pair. You will see two of the popup. 4. Test each buds, make sure both of them work correctly. 5. Go the firmware updates. It will take up to 15 min each. Make sure the lid open and close to your iphone while updating. 6. In my case, the buds were disconnected while updating themselves. So I had to delete both of them at the Bluetooth lists and manage the product in the app, and did again from the factory reset. But now it’s work well! I hope this helps you. ### 1/5 — Terrible App! *2021-07-14, version 1.0.5* After multiple tries to connect, I gave up. It’s too bad, because the buds themselves are very comfortable, although the sound quality is lacking. Earin needs to fix this app STAT, or risk losing even satisfied customers, as I find it difficult to recommend them, despite their comfortable design. ### 1/5 — Can’t connect *2021-03-09, version 1.0.2* I was not able to connect to the app no matter how hard I tried. The sound quality of the puds is also not hood. IMO it’s even worse than Earin M1. ### 1/5 — Not great *2021-02-20, version 1.0.2* Just bought the A-3, must use app for any functionality. Very difficult to connect to buds - after multiple attempts, had to uninstall, reinstall, and somehow got lucky. Customer Service was not helpful-they just restated what the app displays on the screen, then did not reply to any other questions. Once connected, I then discovered the buds are default set to connect to Siri, only way to disable this is through app (Constantly connecting to Siri fir no reason). No way to control volume through app or buds. The buds are open, no noise canceling at all. The only thing going for this entire setup is the buds are very small and great for side sleepers! But a real hassle. Will keep and use only for sleeping. There are WAY better options for any other use. ### 5/5 — App working now - no complaints. *2021-01-24, version 1.0* Not sure how it’s fixed but the app is now working.
