### 3/5 — Great but needs some changes

*2026-07-25, version 2.23*

The sound used (at least for me) can make it difficult to hear the quality of the notes played, this isn’t helped by how it jumps from very high to very low and the difference in the timbre of those sounds, also a reference for some of the more beginner exercises would be very helpful especially for the scale identification exercises, but overall it has helped with my ear training as a vocalist.

### 4/5 — 👍👍

*2026-07-07, version 2.23*

Really 👍❤️

### 4/5 — Ear exercises

*2026-06-25, version 2.23*

This is the best music app that I ever downloaded

### 3/5 — Rhythm

*2026-05-03, version 2.21*

Rhythm needs work, no silences but plenty of the happening audibly
Rest is good so far

### 5/5 — Best ear supplement app

*2026-04-30, version 2.21*

I’m on the road a lot for work, and when I don’t have an instrument OR the time to sit at one, I can still build necessary music skills with this app. The structure is good, and it feels like enough of a game to keep me hooked. And, it’s extremely affordable!

### 5/5 — The best ear training app ever!

*2026-04-12, version 2.21*

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app to the moon and back!!! This ear training app features crystal-clear audio and has helped me to overcome my fear of ear training. It’s been an absolute musical lifesaver. I hope the developers maintain this app, because it’s second to none by far!

### 3/5 — Useful app

*2026-04-07, version 2.21*

It’s a very useful and intuitive app but very buggy. Using this on my iPhone ProMax 15 and my IPad Pro 11 and keys constantly get stuck with a whiney tone to them. I have to press the key again to get the high pitched sound to stop. Also the keys don’t always play when I touch them, and sometimes they just kinda “donk” with a dull sound, or they’ll even play a couple of beats when I touch them. Annoying… like to think is was just a device problem but it happens frequently on both

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-02-09, version 2.20*

Super awesome and great for training my ears, i didn’t know the names of the chords. You can learn so much with this app. I would definitely recommend

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-02-09, version 2.20*

Very accessible and easy to use, with great practice exercises for beginner to advanced musicians.

### 5/5 — Learning - configurable

*2026-02-06, version 2.19*

Very easy way to learn to recognize intervals and scales. Very configurable: you can set it up to focus on the things you need to learn, and make it harder or easier by expanding or shrinking the range of things that it will present to you.

### 5/5 — Beautiful app, currently buggy

### 2/5 — Needs update for iOS 26.2

### 1/5 — currently bugged on iPad, pls fix

*2026-02-07, version 2.19*

I adore this app. Currently bugged on tablet. Pls update.

### 1/5 — Sign up broken

*2025-11-11, version 2.18*

Won’t let me create an account. Garbage.

### 1/5 — Wrong notes

*2024-06-14, version 2.17.2*

Wrong notes of tone sound for the different notes

### 1/5 — Does not work on IPad

*2024-03-26, version 2.17.2*

Have tried five times to sign up for account. Always says request timed out. Tried on their website as well. Won’t show the exercises I need to do on the goals page. 0% functionality currently

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2024-03-02, version 2.17.1*

I hate this app because it doesn’t work at all and it does weird things all the time

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of improvement

*2023-08-13, version 2.16.1*

Might be fine for someone who already knows music. However, if you are trying to learn as a beginner, even if it’s beginner exercises, don’t make any sense. Uninstalled.

### 1/5 — Poor navigation

*2023-04-07, version 2.16.1*

There are no identifying qualifiers on your a and b choices. It’s ridiculous. And I was getting excited.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2020-11-19*

First it asks what level you are: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Then, even if you choose advanced, it gives you a long series of VERY beginner-level ear training questions before letting you move on. For reference, I’ll play things like these ear training questions for 4- and 5-year old kids and they get them right—two Cs (at the unison) then a C and a G (an ascending perfect 5th), and ask which interval was larger.

Why ask people what level they are if they all have to do a long series of questions that are appropriate for 4-year-old students? I have no patience for something that will waste time like that.

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2019-12-30, version 2.9.3*

After downloading the new IOS 13.3 the app stopped working. I can no longer enter the app it keeps crashing as soon as it is opened.

### 2/5 — Great tool!

*2026-06-30, version 2.23*

This is a fantastic app and has helped a lot with recognizing intervals, etc.

However, I sent in some feedback to the developers and still haven’t heard back after maybe 2 weeks now. While I do support great products, I don’t support developers behind it that are silent.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Intervals & Rythym

*2026-08-19, version 2.24*

This will be a game changer with my accuracy and speed. Love it.

### 5/5 — Best Voice Trainer

*2026-06-29, version 2.23*

I’ve tried quite a few of these types of apps. They all seem terrible. Then I found Earpeggio and I’m pretty happy with it. Definitely better than most of the paid voice training apps that don’t really help. And it’s free. Great job Earpeggio!!!

### 5/5 — Amazing App!!

*2026-06-18, version 2.23*

This is a fantastic app to use to practice for music exams. I love the variety of different ear training exercises and customization options within each ear training exercise.

### 5/5 — So simple. So good.

*2026-06-18, version 2.23*

Straight to the point. No gimmicks. No bells and whistles. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and does it for free. Much better way to kill 3 minutes than MORE SCROLLING!!! 🙄😣😵

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-06-15, version 2.23*

Good features and helps u learn fast

### 5/5 — Useful

*2026-06-09, version 2.23*

Excellent app that is useful and helpful

### 5/5 — Outstanding tool!

*2026-06-09, version 2.23*

This app provides such an incredibly immersive experience untie at training. The depth you can go here is incredible. I find it perfect to study all of the intervals from the very basics even, and gradually find my baseline. And I can isolate that very specific interval with this app and really hammer in the repetitions. And then I take the tests in here. And you can make these tests incredibly complex, even changing the BPM of the tests. It’s great! And the tests can be short quizzes or long exams, options for 20 questions, 50 questions, and 100 questions.

This will be added into my daily routine of studying and then take it to the guitar for practical applications. Just such a great companion for studying music while away from the instrument. Studying it right before bed is a great way to fall asleep, and almost guaranteed to be a powerful way to store it into deep memory.

### 5/5 — Enjoying your app while I’m still free

*2026-06-06, version 2.23*

Apps great! 👍

### 5/5 — Love it.

*2026-05-16, version 2.22*

Frequent/Daily use will definitely improve your ear.

### 5/5 — Fabulous

*2026-04-30, version 2.21*

Brilliant app, no ads amazing really helping with my pitch, my vocal coach is noticing a difference in my pitch after only using it a couple hours in a week. If you want to be an amazing singer and want to improve your pitch, Earpeggio is the app for you. Great settings and customisation and a great ease into the technicality and is helping with my understanding of bars as well as pitch! Thank you!
