### 5/5 — Choose your own adventure

*2017-01-18, version 1.0*

What a great way to bring back the choose your own adventure book. I hope they make full stories soon.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2017-01-10, version 1.0*

Genius. It's really refreshing to get such a way to tell an engaging story only YOU are the story; and you make the decisions. Kinda reminds me of Mass Effect ❤️❤️

### 5/5 — Great idea! I love it.

*2017-01-06, version 1.0*

This is such a great idea. I can't wait for more stories.

### 5/5 — Good demos

*2016-12-31, version 1.0*

This has to be the best app of 2016 I can't wait for the next years to come and hear what year play has to offer

### 5/5 — Entertaining!

*2016-12-14, version 1.0*

I'm a new mom and I get tired of watching TV or movies while feeding my baby. This was really entertaining! I used it with the echo dot!

### 5/5 — Audio storytelling

*2016-12-05, version 1.0*

Wonderful app! Would very much like to see more adventures. Thank you for making the app accessible for the visually impaired community and interesting enough to be exciting for those who want an audio experience and not just a visual one.

### 5/5 — Clever and cool.

*2016-12-03, version 1.0*

I love the Orpheus dl. Do it with the lights out.

### 5/5 — Great first run

*2016-11-27, version 1.0*

I am a huge White Wolf/ Onyx Path fan and am really excited to see this continue!!

### 5/5 — Demo Review

*2016-11-18, version 1.0*

I tried a few demos, the Orpheus Device being chief among them. I am all White Wolf/Onyx Path fan. The demo was quite moody and atmospheric and had good sound production values. I see that Project Cygnus is available, but this review does not reflect having tried it. My concern is whether a full version of the game will tell a full and complete story, rather than just some interesting conversational by-play. That said, I'm giving it a five star review based upon the demos. I'll be looking for a more robust narrative in the full versions, but it would be premature to mark it down now. I really look forward to complete stories in the future!

### 5/5 — New Way To Play

*2016-11-17, version 1.0*

Interesting short experiments, I look forward to seeing this evolve.

### 5/5 — So much fun!

*2016-11-17, version 1.0*

I've been looking forward to this release for a long time and I'm not disappointed. Keep the episodes coming! :)

### 5/5 — Awesome audio experience

*2016-11-17, version 1.0*

If you like interactive stories, you'll love this app.

### 5/5 — So cool!

*2016-11-17, version 1.0*

I love this concept! Makes me feel like I'm taking part in a modern, immersive radio drama

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It does not work!!!

*2020-02-10, version 2.0.7*

It won’t let me sign in it keeps giving me an error message, so far the app is useless!!!

### 1/5 — Lots of issues

*2019-04-24, version 2.0.6*

The content is good the app is accessible except for a few little things that I don’t really mind but what’s making me give the one star rating is when I go in they came in outer space and purchase the one dollar story it always gives me an error that’s what’s making me give the one star review because I can’t purchase it and it says it’s going to be a good story

### 1/5 — Fun but privacy is suspect

*2018-01-17, version 1.2*

I liked the story I got from Alexa and downloaded the app, but after reading the privacy policy that described data collection I have removed the app and will disable on Alexa. It's unfortunate because it sounded like a creative and fun product. Our privacy needs to be guarded a little more carefully...time to start reading that fine print.

### 4/5 — Intriguing!

*2017-12-16, version 1.2*

This game looks to be lots of fun, however, there are accessibility issues that need to be resolved causing me to give this only a four star review rather than the five star it could have. Outside of that, game content and quality is great, and refreshing to find something different.

### 4/5 — Enjoyable, despite some accessibility problems

*2017-11-25, version 1.2*

I thoroughly enjoyed the demos provided with the earplay app, and I'm considering purchasing some of the stories. However, there are some accessibility issues with this version of the app.

### 4/5 — Demo Story & App review

*2017-07-18, version 1.2*

Interesting, and initially strange to be faced with choices that include "kiss the strange young woman who just sat down across the table from you in the restaurant, and is hurriedly demanding you kiss her". I'm sure I'm not the only person for whom kissing a female would not be the first choice of whom to kiss. But I decided, go with it woman! I will assume that the story writers will permit us to select in our own minds, in each game scenario, whether the character we are playing is heterosexual, bi or homosexual,… And male, female or gender neutral? (Or any other options that may exist but I am currently spacing on, LOL?)
Cannot wait to find out whether they will let us select a different ethnic/cultural background within a game story,… or different skill sets say for an agent? Will they eventually expand the interaction to, say, let us ask our "handler" (a.k.a. the voice in our heads) to "remind us who someone is", or "describe the room/building/location" we are in? If these interactive audio games come even halfway to matching my imagination, this should be a blast while I'm getting other real life but boring things accomplished.

### 5/5 — Lots of fun

*2022-09-15, version 2.0.7*

These are all very enjoyable and well acted. I wish the app properly saved my place but it never has once and there’s no indication so if I leave a story, I have to start over.

It would also be nice to offer a downloadable version the way the old Codename Cygnus app used to work where you could play without an internet connection so you don’t lose access to these great stories once the servers inevitably go offline.

### 5/5 — It will make you rethink everything

*2019-09-05, version 2.0.7*

It will make you think

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2019-07-04, version 2.0.7*

I love this app. Cannot wait for new stories.

### 5/5 — Loved it

*2018-02-10, version 1.2*

Easy to use and fun. The story was engaging and I cannot wait to hear more.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-07-23, version 1.2*

Wonderful voice acting; a perfect app for thinking on your feet.

### 5/5 — Sounds like a cool cross between a game and mystery radio storytelling!

*2017-06-30, version 1.1*

Sounds like a cool cross between a game and mystery radio storytelling! Am enjoying playing it on my Google Home and Alexa Echo. Can't wait to hear more!

### 5/5 — An Interesting Game, 1st Audiobook

*2017-05-28, version 1.0*

I have never listened to an audiobook before. I could never find myself to sit still long enough or focused enough to actually listen to it being read to me. However, this actually made me focus on the story to know how my choices, affect the story route. This was just from playing the 'EarPlay Demo'. So I am now awaiting more stories to listen/play along with.
