## What is EARSLite?

EARSLite can be used for political canvassing, poll day telling and poll day door-knocking of supporter lists.

The telling screen allows you to search for electors if they have forgotten their poll-cards. 
Data syncs to door-knockers out on the streets to omit people who have already voted. 

EARSLite links to our main online database (when registered), but trainees can login to the training database with a username of "Guest" & password of "User".  

To download real local campaign data they need to register details sent to them by their local EARS campaign manager.
They will then be able to download encrypted question/answer lists & elector lists to use in their local area.

The EARS database has been used for 30 yrs in the UK and complies with EU GDPR legislation.

App user details are only used to for security purposes - ie to check that they match up with the same details given by the local EARS officer & to deny synchronisation access to devices that users report have been lost or stolen (which under GDPR users should report within 72 hrs).
