## What is EarSprout?

EarSprout is a free ear trainer built for musicians who want to actually hear music, not just read about it.

Train pitch recognition, all 12 intervals, chord quality, chord progressions, and scales — from beginner-friendly majors and minors to advanced modes, whole tone, and chromatic runs. A live Voice Tuner shows your pitch in real time with an analog needle gauge, and two singing drills (Sing Intervals, Melody Echo) build active recall most ear-training apps skip entirely.

No accounts. No ads. No subscriptions. The core app — ear training, intervals, chord quality, basic scales, and the tuner — is free forever. EarSprout Pro is a single one-time purchase that unlocks 7th chords, advanced scales, and the voice-based drills.

Includes a dedicated Kids Mode: solfège notes become animal friends, with pitch-direction and singing games that reward practice with stars — parent gate included so kids can't wander into settings or purchases on their own.

All audio is synthesized and analyzed entirely on your device. Nothing is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
