### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2019-11-17, version 2.7.0*

I am doing a project on climate change and this definitely gave me a better picture in my brain although it does need an update because it totally blocked out Antarctica still try it, it’s really handy

### 3/5 — Cool idea, needs update

*2019-11-08, version 2.7.0*

This is a pretty cool app with lots of info to display, could use some work updating the UI a little, especially for new notch phones.

### 4/5 — Good

*2017-12-01, version 2.5.13*

Where is the arctic circle? Is a fantastic app but why is it missing. Please fix.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2017-04-27, version 2.5.11*

### 2/5 — Could be great

*2017-04-27, version 2.5.11*

I'd certainly rate 4 stars if not for the fact that Antarctica is almost completely blacked out. It's the equivalent to being given a book with missing pages.

### 5/5 — 5 full stars

*2017-04-26, version 2.5.11*

Love this app

### 5/5 — Excellent Update

*2017-04-22, version 2.5.11*

Thank you so much! The app has need updating for a long time. Now it doesn't have lag, is up to date, includes more data, etc. I am so glad to be able to use it now.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2017-04-08, version 2.5.11*

I saw this app in my remote sensing class and it's one of the amazing things I've seen! It even provides real time data!

### 5/5 — Happy for NASA's approach

*2016-11-16, version 2.5.7*

I doubt a great many people will read this at NASA or at all but I just wanted to put it out there that you guys are doing a good job! It's really cool that you're trying to popularize space exploration and spark interest in science, especially in this time. I hope you get the funding you need to get us out there. Love, a fellow hopeful.

### 5/5 — Beautiful design

*2016-11-15, version 2.5.7*

User friendly, although I'm. It sure most of us would find a daily use for this app. Saying that, I spent twenty minutes just scrolling through the screens and selecting the individual satellites. Beautiful and deceptively entertaining. I think I am enjoying it more than I should, but the graphics are mesmerizing!

### 4/5 — Goodish

*2016-11-15, version 2.5.7*

1 there should be a section that just tells information about the satellites like height and launch date.

2 maybe the ISS should b shown

3 I think this app is great but hard to follow at sometimes

### 5/5 — Really nice app

*2016-10-17, version 2.5.7*

This app is really user friendly and has a lot of great climate products. Can you put some ice sheet data on it?

*2016-07-19, version 2.5.5*

I watch very important information about earth in a second !

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2016-02-07, version 2.3.1*

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2016-02-05, version 2.3.1*

I LOVE this app. It has literally all the data you need to find out about Earth. I recommend it to anyone who likes space/science.

### 5/5 — Awesome visualization of data

*2016-01-04, version 2.3.1*

I'd say this is right up there with the app that lets you track visible constellations based on your location. Not especially useful every day, but definitely fun to play with.

The app is pretty self-explanatory (not sure why someone was confused in their review about the satellites orbiting the planet...), and pretty cool to show off. Even more impressive when you consider the data is petty much real-time.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2018-04-21, version 2.5.13*

Does not work for only country needed.
Why do you have it working for Africa and South America etc.... but Canada I cant get it to work for all of the program. We need northern Canada and Alaska as that is the canary in the coal mine. Get with the program

### 1/5 — U need a Ph.D. To use it

*2015-12-23, version 2.3.1*

Some of the maps are from last year or older. The data is sporadic making the map blotchy or full of holes.

Don't download it!!!!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So Cool!

*2025-03-14, version 2.13*

I can’t stop opening this app throughout the day, I just think it’s amazing! You can watch the earth in real time, choosing any area to look at, or you can choose the animated dataset wherein you get a glimpse of each day of the last week or so. I am not a scientist and I don’t know what half of the listed measurements mean, but watching the weather patterns and satellites in real time is so stinking cool.

### 5/5 — Very Interesting App

*2020-08-24, version 2.7.0*

Very good, really interesting, good to know Earth isn’t dead yet.

### 5/5 — Load strip

### 5/5 — Easy to use & Research based

*2018-09-05, version 2.7.0*

This delightful App comes from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of the credible California based science institution, CalTech. In partnership with NASA, this app streams live data from a dozen orbiting satellites to give the curious minded visual representations of temperature, water moisture, carbon dioxide, and more.
Perfectly integrates with many NGSS standards from early elementary through secondary school.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2018-07-30, version 2.7.0*

This app is awesome! I find it very useful as a visual to show people the current CO2 atmospheric data when engaging with people about the dangers we face do to a lack of coverage by the media. NASA does incredible things on a shoestring budget! Earth now gives the public a direct link to our satellites most up to date data of earth’s natural systems. Thanks NASA keep up the hard work!

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2017-06-07, version 2.5.11*

This app will increase my understanding exponentially, because it gives me the ability to see, in real time, the impacts on earth of the variables that are critical to the continued well-being of life on our planet.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2017-06-01, version 2.5.11*

This is a great app.And what the hell is NASA propaganda?!?!
