## What is Earth Sleep?

EarthSleep brings you back to the feeling of sleeping in the wilderness.

Every sound in EarthSleep is completely original, recorded on location in remote natural environments during real journeys through mountains, alpine lakes, winter landscapes, and wild places far from human noise. These are not sound effects or artificial loops—each recording captures a specific place, moment, and experience exactly as it was.

EarthSleep was created out of a simple longing: we live in the city, but often long for sleeping in our tent deep in the wilderness. The stillness. The distance from everything human. The way nature naturally slows your breathing and quiets your mind.

When you can’t be out there, EarthSleep is designed to take you back.

The sounds are intentionally calm, continuous, and minimally processed, and are carefully edited to loop seamlessly, so there are no breaks, jumps, or moments that pull you out of rest. This allows your nervous system to settle without effort. There’s no music, no voices, and no narration—just real water, wind, and earth recorded as they were found.

Each sound includes a short journey description, sharing where it was recorded and the experience surrounding that moment, grounding the listener in a real place rather than an abstract soundscape.

Whether it’s water flowing beneath a high mountain trail, a frozen lake settling into evening, or the deep, unseen movement of water through rock, EarthSleep offers a way to rest as if you were outdoors—free from distraction and human influence.

### 5/5 — The Best Sleep

*2026-03-15*

This takes you there! The sounds are real, the app is so well made to provide the perfect sounds from real places. I always seem to sleep best above 10,000ft, so having such a great selection of sounds from the mountains brings me right back.

### 5/5 — Love the REAL sounds!!

*2026-02-28*

If you sleep with sound and love the outdoors, especially camping and backpacking, this is the best! I love the variety of sounds. It took me right back to my days of hiking and sleeping on the JMT. The Thousand Island Lake one is my favorite!

### 5/5 — BEST sleep sounds app

I need white noise every night to sleep and I love that these are REAL sounds recorded in person around the world. The loops are excellent (can’t hear it at all, WIN!) Looking forward to more!
