They just want you money and not providing any service. Their tech support not responding any useful questions and always be happy to cancel your service with no refund at all! ### 1/5 — Not ready for prime time *2026-03-31* I have used EarthLink for decades, but this Account Management app is completely nonfunctional on my iPad. I am also unable to change Settings in my Earthlink e-mail app as directed to make this separate app work. Pretty disappointing overall. My iPad is entirely up to date, so that isn’t the problem. C’mon Earthlink, you can do better. ### 1/5 — Do Not Use *2026-03-12* All calls are routed to an Indian call center. Those poor people are unable to resolve any issues. This company made so many mistakes. They made a mistake with our address, so the intitial router was returned to sender. They then failed to configure the new router. They charged us before we had service. And they never connected us with anyone who could account for this debacle. Earthlink is even worse than Comcast...and that's saying something! ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-03-04* EarthLink is a scam. Their internet service was terrible and when I canceled my service and returned their router, they charged me $424 for the "unreturned router". When I provided the UPS tracking confirmation (that EarthLink provided) and they located the router at their warehouse they told me I would receive a refund of the $424 in 7-10 business days. That was 6 weeks ago. And every time I call, I get a new case # and someone that tells me the refund was never processed but assures me, after holding for up to 48 minutes, that they have taken care of the problem and my refund is on the way. LIARS ### 1/5 — SCAM, Untrustworthy *2026-02-16* Router did not work, I was told they would have someone work on it and if it continues to not work I would receive a refund. After a month of no responses, they charged me again and gave no refund after I cancelled the account. ### 1/5 — Useless App *2026-02-08* Ever since they made their update, it’s been hell just to make a payment to our service. It took weeks just to log back in. Customer service is awful. I was promised speeds of up to 300 Mbps, yet I haven’t even been able to reach half of that. The highest speed I’ve gotten was a whopping 20 Mbps! But guess what? Even that only lasted for about five minutes after speaking with customer service. I guess I can thank you for bringing more family time together, because family movie nights have basically been ruined when we can’t even watch a two-minute trailer without constant buffering and interruptions, courtesy of Earthlink! It’s not just streaming either, even my EarthLink app won’t load, which is incredibly frustrating. I understand that internet speeds can fluctuate, but consistently receiving speeds nowhere near what I’m paying for is unacceptable. I simply want reliable internet and the service I was promised. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-08-08, version 1.46* EarthLink is a scam. Their internet service was terrible and when I canceled my service $27:95 and 27:01 back and I call to complain they took my money and they told me they didn’t take it out but they did. they scam me? ### 1/5 — Worst WiFi *2026-07-11* Just terrible WiFi network connection won’t connect to a proper nat type, WiFi is really slow and just horrible would not recommend I made the mistake on getting this internet provider. ### 1/5 — Not unless you HAVE to. *2026-06-30* I ignored the reviews and got the service because the rep on the phone lied to make the sale. Promising fiber optics and saying they owned the rights to the already laid wires. The service arrives as a 5G hotspot essentially that I NEVER used cause the signal was so poor. I paid them $300 for allowing myself to get scammed and THEN in order to charge me $400 of non return fees the NEXT REP says wait for the return label in the mail. Luckily a week later, I called again today saying I didn’t get it and they said that’s not even an option. If you live in a rural area, just know you will average speed between 1-5MB a second. The service is spotty at best and there will be many times a day that you will get no service at all. And, upon first glance, features like adding data through the app work. No more needing to call in to an agent. Bravo. Keep up the trajectory PLEASE! ### 3/5 — EarthLink WiFi *2025-11-29* WiFi is alright. If you’re having trouble with your internet. All you have to do is talk with an agent and have the issue resolved. They helped me with mine. What I highly dislike is that I have to deal with slower speeds after downloading or updating certain games because I’m a game streamer. I never use to have issues but this password is ridiculous I have two of them, like if though I have two accounts , just because of my password prompts from EarthLink saying that’s is incorrect.
