However quite some time ago, (maybe a year or so) the app went silent. That is until today (Aug 30, 2016)!!! I have mine set to list quakes higher than 5.0, and it's almost scary that there's a long list of those. I like the tsunami reports, the mapping, and seeing tweets from the affected areas. The instant user data input (I.e. twitter, Facebook, etc.) gives you a very quick "on the ground" perspective of an event. Make sure to set your preferences, as there is a ton of data that pours in on a constant basis. It can be a little overwhelming if you don't set your location, magnitude settings, etc. however it's very easy to navigate through. All in all, great app for keeping up on the latest seismic activity worldwide and in your own community. Then I stopped receiving notifications. Figured out that quiet time was enabled. So disabled it. But the app turns it back on. We have gotten 10 earthquakes in the last 2 days and it has not notified me about any of them !!!! Please fix PLEASE ! ### 1/5 — Poor App *2015-01-12, version 4.1.6* Just bought it a few minutes ago. I am unable to find local earthquake information that ocurred an hour ago 4 miles from my current location. For starters iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support would be great. The notification level based on setting magnitude does work but my interest is only the Alaska area, not other places on the planet such as Chili. The company was very fast to respond to my inquiry on how to make this work. The response was that it is in plan for a future release. There have been dozens of earthquakes in the Solomon Islands the last 2 days, most 4.5 and over, up to 7.5. I don't know why this is not reported on the news.
