## What is Easeday?

Easeday is designed to help you reduce the frequency and impact of your headaches, TMJ (jaw/facial pain), and migraine attacks. It offers an extensive collection of engaging information and clinically-validated therapeutic exercises. Relaxation training, education, lifestyle modification, trigger management, sleep hygiene, and other non-pharmaceutical modalities can improve health and well-being for those experiencing migraine attacks. With as little as 10 minutes of relaxation training a day, Ease has been shown to decrease monthly headache and migraine days by up to 60%, but as with physical exercise, any amount you do will help.

You will learn about causes of headaches and migraines, common triggers, available treatment options, tips & tricks for avoiding attacks, and what to do when you feel an attack coming. Ease also guides you through a recommended series of informative educational sessions and therapeutic exercises. The goal is to incorporate Ease into your daily routine as part of a personalized pain management plan.

Another important Easeday feature is HRVY. HRVY is Easeday’s heart rate variability (HRV) sensing feature to measure your resilience to stress. HRV has become the most scientifically accepted way to follow your relaxation response in real time. Watch your HRV score increase as you practice therapeutic breathing exercises. Over weeks and months, you can see your HRV scores improve with regular Easeday relaxation training.

The higher the HRV score the better. Higher HRV scores correlate with increased resilience to stress, improved cardiovascular health and a longer life span. Lower HRV scores correlate with decreased resilience to stress, chronic pain, and depression. For good reason, health-conscious people today are incorporating a daily relaxation exercise into their personal wellness strategy to complement their physical conditioning routine.

In addition, Easeday provides an easy-to-use headache diary for tracking headache and migraine events. You can record symptoms, triggers, medication usage, and the impact on your life.

You will also receive personalized guidance and insights to help identify patterns and changes that you can make to reduce the chance of having a future headache or migraine attack. You will be able to see your progress and improvement over time, learn what triggers may affect you the most, and see how you are keeping up with your daily goals and training.

Relaxation exercises include:

*Breathing
*Meditation
*Mindfulness
*Sleep
*Progressive Muscle Relaxation
*Guided Imagery
*Autogenics
*Music
*And more

You will find information on:

*Headache and migraine disorders
*Preventative treatments
*Acute treatments
*Rescue plans
*Complementary treatments
*Insomnia
*Chronic Pain
*Fatigue
*Anxiety
*Tinnitus
*Facial Pain (TMJ Syndrome)
*Neck & back pain
*Dizziness
*And many other related conditions

The Ease app integrates with the Health App.

Remember to always seek a doctor’s advice in addition to using this app and before making any medical decisions

### 4/5 — Very good app

*2021-12-25, version 3.7.0*

I like that you can track your headaches AND it has a lot of helpful information for headache sufferers that seems based on research. There are some problems with font size being super tiny on certain parts of the app. Aside from that I think it’s a really great tool and I’m grateful to have found it!

### 5/5 — Incredible value for migraineurs

*2021-01-06, version 3.0.0*

I haven’t quite nailed down my triggers yet but stress and anxiety usually lead to a cluster for me. This app is so valuable its variety of meditations, relaxation exercises, stories, and more designed to help you calm, relax, and destress. I can’t believe it is free. I hope it stays free too. Thanks for providing such a valuable resource to migraineurs and anyone who suffers from chronic pain.

### 2/5 — Constant login required

*2020-05-08, version 2.2.0*

I used this app weekly for help with relaxation and headache relief...until they started to require email and password login with every use. When I have a bad headache I cannot even type in my email, let alone go through a password reset every time. Sounds like a small thing but to those of us who need to be rescued from a bad migraine, it’s a deal breaker.

**Developer response:** Hi, we are sorry to hear about your login issue! The app is not intended to make you login every time you open it. Please try updating the app to the latest version on the app store and see if this fixes the issue. If not, please send us a bug report from the app settings and we will take a look at your account and get it fixed for you!

### 5/5 — HRVY

*2020-03-14, version 2.0.1*

I just started using this app for monthly headaches and migraines. I love the HRVY tool and relaxation exercises. I started a few days before anticipated headaches and am hoping to see no or manageable headache this month. The amount of information and content and applications available is impressive too.

### 5/5 — Really works!

*2019-06-14, version 1.2.1*

I great little app with tons of useful information about how/why headaches occur. It helped me identify some key contributing factors to headaches so I could change my habits. The relaxation exercises and medical info is great. I recommend this app for anyone who suffers from migraines and headaches.

### 5/5 — Best Migraine and Headache App I’ve Found

*2019-06-04, version 1.2.1*

I’m a chronic migraine sufferer. I’ve used various meditation and relaxation apps, but Ease is focused specifically on headaches and migraines. The audio sessions cover a very wide variety of conditions and also help you learn about yourself and your headache and migraine journey. I also like the ability to track my headaches and note medications, symptoms and triggers associated with the event.

I highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — It helped

*2019-06-03, version 1.2.1*

I downloaded this app a month ago . Admit looking for a quick fix for headaches besides drinking water all the time which never works for me. I have a lot of the other things that went along with the headaches like ringing in my ears and staying asleep. It’s helping all that when I do the exercises. Feeling draggy is another biggy. Still don’t know if all the headaches are migraines but some sure are and now know some good things to do about them like breathing right before they really get going. Overall very good information once I listened to it.

### 5/5 — Helpful relaxation exercises and headache info!

*2019-06-03, version 1.2.1*

Very worthwhile app for treating headaches! Offers an incredible wealth of up-to-date headache-related information; you can pick and choose to read the content that is pertinent to you and your unique situation. The relaxation exercises really did make a difference for me. Highly recommend you download the app, educate yourself with the appropriate content, and begin doing the relaxation exercises if you suffer from any type of headache.

### 5/5 — Novel approach, great results

*2019-06-03, version 1.2.1*

Ease is a new way of dealing with migraines. I have found the tools and techniques really helpful in reducing my stress levels and as a result I feel my headaches are less frequent.
I recommend you give this a try.

### 5/5 — Effective app

*2019-06-01, version 1.2.1*

This app is effective. I have only been using it a few weeks and it is already helping me.
