## Newest reviews (9 of 29)

### 3/5 — Always lags

*2024-11-01, version 2.4.2*

simple layout and very good if worked smoothly. But it seems to lag a lot. Not sure if charger connection or apps fault.

### 3/5 — Decent app but needs separate day/night tariff

*2024-05-12*

The app is decent and has all the essential controls for the charger, but lacks some key features. Most UK power companies offer tariffs with a reduced nighttime rate for EV owners to save money when charging overnight, however the app only allows you to input a single kWh cost for your power while other EV charger apps allow entering separate nighttime and daytime costs. It also seems like I have to manually set the Bluetooth to connect every time I launch the app vs. automatically connecting via Bluetooth.

### 3/5 — Last update broke WiFi

*2024-03-16, version 2.1.8*

Last update broke WiFi connection. Also, when is the update to the Easee one going to get Bluetooth support?

Whilst I’m at it, Apple Watch support too would be welcome

### 3/5 — Needs to have dual tariff rate

*2024-02-02, version 2.1.3*

Other manufacturers such as Hypervolt app allows you to put multiple rates depending on the time period. This is ideal when my charging over runs past a certain time and then I'm charged a different tariff. It's ideal for accounting.

### 3/5 — Not enough consumer features

*2023-10-08, version 2.0.1*

Still waiting for two rate charging tariff accounting. The app development seems to be focussed upon commercial sites rather than end consumer use. This is a shame because basic features such as two rate charging are still lacking. Most of the updated features are invisible to end users who aren't commercial site admins.

### 4/5 — Always improving

*2023-02-05, version 1.6.3*

I like that app and the layout, easy to use and very nice setup. The only thing that is lacking is when I pause the charging the icon doesn’t change it is still pause symbol. It will be nice if the icon change from pause ⏸️ to play ▶️ and vice versa to know for sure that I paused the charging or continued.

### 4/5 — Clear and ‘Easee’ to use :)

*2022-12-12, version 1.5.8*

Really enjoying the app so far. No issues to speak of. If I could ask for one enhancement it would be an Apple Watch app/complication and an ios16 Lock Screen widget to easily check charging progress. Very happy so far.

### 2/5 — Notifications because??

*2022-10-22, version 1.5.4*

Just had an Easee charger installed but EV delayed so it isn't in use yet. Why then, is this app sending me notifications when I am not using the charger?

### 4/5 — Variable usage rates

*2022-04-03, version 1.4.0*

Would be good if you could add different charging fee’s and times to reflect the fact that some utility companies charge lower rates at night.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — New Icon Sucks!

*2026-06-13, version 3.0.0*

What were you thinking? This icon looks hideous on my home screen?! Just looks tacky. Old was subtle and class.

### 1/5 — Disappointed bunny

*2026-04-05, version 2.8.4*

The apps Interface is very clunky and doesn’t make sense.
It’s also let me down on a few occasions either not starting at the right time or finishing at the right time

### 1/5 — Critical issue

*2025-07-01, version 2.6.3*

Have had the charger for just over a year bought through a third-party Medlock. Everything has been fine and then all of a sudden get a critical red light and now unable to charge my vehicle. Doesn’t seem to be a quick solution.

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2025-04-23, version 2.5.8*

Installing the app gives a request for password. Forgotten password will not send a link to email address to reset password

### 1/5 — No functionality for dual tariff

*2025-01-13, version 2.4.7*

Many reviews asking for dual tariff & I expected the new release to have this, disappointed that it doesn’t, certainly feels like the developers don’t want to deliver what the consumers are asking for.

### 1/5 — Charger is offline

*2024-04-09, version 2.2.0*

App doesn’t seem to work and no support from anyone. Not been able to use the charger yet :/

### 1/5 — Poor support

*2022-03-08, version 1.4.0*

No support and the app does not work properly.

### 2/5 — Please add multiple tariffs

*2024-10-20, version 2.4.2*

The app works ok but lacks support for multiple tariffs (peak and off-peak) which makes it impossible to track how much you actually pay for charging. This does not seem like a hard thing to add and almost every other home charger app supports it. Please add support for this.

### 2/5 — Clock change

*2023-03-31, version 1.6.9*

Not the easiest app to use. Irritating that when we went to daylight savings the clock and the schedule both changed so I’ve been paying higher rates to charge because of Easee altering schedule which is planned to coincide with cheaper electric- check everyone!

### 2/5 — Charge rates

*2022-11-20, version 1.5.6*

You would like to think in 2022 you should be able edit charge price if you have entered incorrectly.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Frustrating

*2026-06-19, version 3.0.0*

New update is really frustrating when you have multiple chargers. An annoyance that there is only symbols now with no description of what each thing does.

### 5/5 — Best one out there

*2026-05-04, version 2.8.6*

The app and product are an amazing package and feels future ready , hardly anything that cannot be controlled via the app, dual charges setup was easy to give a guesstimate of my consumption. Overall happy with the ecosystem.

### 4/5 — Reliable Charger, but Missing Dual Tariff Option

*2025-03-16, version 2.5.4*

I’ve had this charger installed recently and I’m very happy with its performance. It’s reliable, easy to use, and charges efficiently. The installation was smooth, and the app makes it simple to monitor usage.

The only downside is the lack of a dual tariff feature. Without the ability to set two different electricity rates (for peak and off-peak times), it’s hard to get an accurate cost of charging. Hopefully, this can be added in a future update.

Overall, a great product that works really well!

### 4/5 — Good but…

*2025-01-27, version 2.4.9*

Really impressed with the interface and everything works well but as evident from other reviews the ability to support time based tariffs is lacking despite comments going back years and no feedback from the developers - come on guys, a simple ask to make your customers happy and more likely to recommend your kit to others.

### 4/5 — Great but no dual tariff support

*2024-06-17, version 2.2.7*

Please add dual tariff support! I have a cheaper tariff overnight but can only track one cost in the app!

### 4/5 — Great App

*2024-04-22, version 2.2.2*

The app and charger are great and works well but wish there was option to view the current car charge percentage (can’t find it anywhere)

### 4/5 — Wi Fi

*2023-07-12, version 1.8.3*

All good except the wifi icon has a question mark suggesting it is not connected. Think it is though but unsure. I assume it wouldn’t link to the app if the unit was not connected? Is that correct?

### 4/5 — Where /why has the current session charge rate gone?

*2023-05-24, version 1.7.6*

Where /why has the current session charge rate gone? Was a super useful thing. Please bring it back.

### 4/5 — Very good but…

*2023-04-23, version 1.7.1*

…I would like the ability to input more than one price per kw. At present I only get the true cost on one tarrif when I have a cheap off peak price and a “ normal” price.

### 4/5 — Reports

*2023-03-30, version 1.6.9*

App works well but i need to run a report each month for work, the report give how much KWH I’ve used, but although I’ve inputted what i pay per kWh the report never shows the total cost this always shows £0
