East Frisia's endless expanse awaits you! 

Explore the border region between Germany and the Netherlands on foot, by bike or on the water. The rambles take you through idyllic water, moor and park landscapes, along rivers and canals, past castles and palaces, across green meadows, through forests or over dikes. In between, you'll stop in quaint coastal towns and picturesque villages. 
   
The app "Grenzenlos Aktiv - Ostfriesland Tourenplaner" is your practical holiday planner - for planning in advance from home or directly on site. It not only has over 500 suggestions for hikes, cycling tours and canoe trips, but also a large selection of accommodation options. In addition, there are numerous valuable tips for excursion destinations such as mills, lighthouses, museums, spas or island excursions. With the Top Tips you get a first-hand compilation of the most beautiful tours. 
  
Active holidaymakers, nature lovers and families will find all details such as track, altitude profile, distance, duration, degree of difficulty, short facts, detailed description, directions and pictures for the easily filterable tours. Points of interest along the way are shown as interactive clickable symbols on the map. The zoomable, topographical map provides various basic maps, switchable layers and a positioning function. 
  
Tours, points and maps can be saved locally for offline use and are therefore always accessible. With the individual tour planner you can easily plan, save and send your own tours. You also have the option of recording your track with geolocated images and detailed statistics. With the navigation function, you can be conveniently guided along existing or planned tours.

In der App an der Einstellung: Gemeinsam auf Tour - sobald man da drauf geht, schließt sich die App komplett und man muss neustarten. Selbst nach Neustart und wiederholtem Drücken schließt sich die App wieder. Bei meiner Freundin ist es ebenso. Diese Einstellung funktioniert nicht! Hoffe ihr könnt den Fehler beheben.

Beim Ausleihen von Fahrrädern am Hafen von Aurich wurde uns diese App empfohlen. 

Leider ist die App noch nicht ausgereift: bei selbst gestalteten Routen wird man zwar oft abseits viel befahrener Straßen geführt, doch bei den Routen landet man häufig auf Wegen, die nicht mehr als Straßen zu erkennen sind und im schlechtesten Fall komplett zugewachsen oder gesperrt sind und man Teilstrecken wieder zurück fahren muss. 

Hier ist noch viel Arbeit erforderlich, um diese App entspannt nutzen zu können! Schade!

Die App hat noch viel Potential.
Die individuelle Planung ist instabil.
Man muss sehr vorsichtig die Etappenpunkte setzen und dann heißt es noch lange nicht, dass dann der gewünschte Weg eingeschlagen wird.
Dann denkt man nach dem Speichern, dass die Route gesichert ist, weit gefehlt. Eine einmal gemachte (z.B. Änderung der Route) Bearbeitung, lässt sich nicht Rückgängig machen sondern wird so abgespeichert, was leider fatal sein kann.
Die App kann man zwar auch auf dem iPad laden, ist aber wie auf dem iPhone. Querformat geht nicht.

Und gerade eben habe ich festgestellt, dass sich die von mir in Favoriten abgesicherte Tour nicht kopieren lässt 

Als Vorlage gespeicherte Tour hat keine Wegpunkte und wir auch nicht synchronisiert, taugt somit nicht als Vorlage für weitere Touren.

Ich hoffe auf ein baldiges Update
