## What is East Kent NHS Patient Journey?

We understand that undergoing any surgery can be daunting and you will have many questions.
Therefore we have developed this app to provide you with all the relevant information regarding
your surgery in bitesize pieces, in the build up to your surgery, during your hospital stay and after
you are discharged home. 

The success of your operation very much depends on your full understanding and participation. Through this app you will get a clear view of exactly what you need to do at each stage through the entire process until you are fully recovered. 

Notifications sent directly to your smartphone will guide you to key pieces of information at the relevant times. The app can also be downloaded on multiple devices and be downloaded by your friends and family so that they can support you through your journey.
