So what’s the point of having a double service within 15 minutes of each other and not replacing the 154 that did not show up. Also emailed their ‘service email’ with absolutely no reply for 3 weeks. I had cut my evening short and got an earlier than necessary train back to Hull in order to catch the last bus home from the station. I was part of a queue of 20+ people waiting to board that last bus, but the departure time came and went, and the matrix board flashed up the next scheduled bus at 6am the following morning. This app should highlight on the timetable for the route you’re viewing / journey you’ve planned if a particular service has been cancelled. I’m aware that there’s a section of service updates, but when you’re travelling, you need timely information in a useful place. 20+ people had to find their own way home last night, after trusting your app and service. For me, that trust in EY Buses has gone. ### 2/5 — Timetables are a joke! *2023-09-29, version 50* There’s many bus stops that aren’t named and timed stamped.. some with as much as 15 minutes difference between stops.. how is this helpful??? Buses are listed as due but then refreshing the page then puts a time of 5-14 minutes due time… However, it is easy to purchase and keep track of tickets ### 1/5 — The app version has bugs *2023-08-22, version 48* The new version (just updated yesterday, 21/8/2023) isn’t working properly. Cannot see the favorited buses live, just the stops. The one thing that was functioning about this company is also malfunctioning now! ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2023-07-12, version 45* The buses themselves are good and drivers are friendly and helpful and there Is free WiFi but the app timetable doesn’t match the boards at the bus stations. For instance today the 121 was due to leave Beverley at 1:06 according to the app but when we got to the bus station there was a 26 minute wait according to the information screen. ### 3/5 — Slow and steady doesn’t win the race *2023-07-11* The app is fine, when it wants to work. Sometimes it doesn’t show that your bud is going to arrive, you’re waiting and waiting sometimes it does and that’s great but sometimes it doesn’t. The amount of buses that have cancelled in the past month or so is ridiculous. When it does show up (and that’s anywhere) you can count on it being 5 minutes late or more. I used to work in Melton and on the way home my bus was about 20+ minutes late every day quite frankly that’s embarrassing. Don’t know what’s been going on recently with the app and the actual service but something needs to change ### 2/5 — Pocklington to York and Back *2023-05-29, version 42* First impressions good as it was easy to track the bus arriving to Pocklington and the stop to use was obvious. But, in York a completely different experience. The App has Stonebow and Piccadilly mixed up, the App named stop of Stownbow is actually in Piccadilly. The physical stops on Piccadilly and there are 4 of them make no reference to the X46/X47 so I had no clue which to use and the stop dot on the app shows on the wrong side of the street! I eventually found refeeence to the X46/X47 on the ‘bus stop SC’ sign on Stonebow so waited there. Good job I had some time to spare! Why can’t the app have the bus stop names ie ‘Bus Stop SC’ included in the timetable or map labels is would make things a lot easier. Here’s hoping this can be sorted? ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2023-04-18, version 41.0* Just like Eyms buses this app is useless. Never a bus on time in Scarborough and then you look at the app to see where it is,it’s either a few stops away or has actually been already and the app says otherwise. The app never gives a correct bus location due to it being glitchy ### 1/5 — Timetable? *2023-03-19, version 40.2* The app itself is not bad, but the timetable is blatantly ignored by the drivers. ### 1/5 — What a waste!!!!! *2023-03-13, version 40.1* The app is constantly glitchy!!! It shows busses then they vanish, only to re-appear leaving you no time to get to the stop to catch them!!!! Very very frustrating for those who have to use this service for work purposes! Ever since they took over first buses who where on time they have never shown up on time. Which I don’t deserve. 53 bus stuck in traffic, due to Gas works… so where is the service for people needing to get around???… 14:34hrs NOT ARRIVED & 1539hrs NOT ARRIVED!!! Now I’m too cold & will take this further… missed trains & missed appointments, where does it all end? If there was snow on the ground I might have frozen to death at 69 going on 70yrs old…. Once activated, the app signed me out and restricted my access, making me unable to use my ticket. I explained this to the bus driver and he said it was tough and that we would have to purchase another ticket. It was bus 893 at 3pm on the 24th August 2025. Rubbish app and terribly rude bus driver. I said I would request a refund and he said I would be unable to. Why?? But this app needs to update and let users know!! Especially considering the bus call app (which was really useful for this) has been discontinued. First the app. 4/5 - there are some tweaks that would benefit such as up to date info about when a bus is not coming, but overall, once you are used to how it works it’s pretty good. However… a bus app without a reliable service is like buying a pair of shoes but one is far too small to fit. Of little use. I can’t count the amount of times a service just doesn’t show up. Sure, there’s a live map when you turn on the route, but often the trackers in the buses don’t work so you simply don’t know if it’s accurate or not. I rely on the service for my livelihood - but after trying this for 10 months my conclusion is the service has got worse over time and now Im going back to driving a car again. Completely the reverse of what public transport is supposed to be doing. As I stand here now, with TWO buses having not turned up, I’ll have to get an Uber once again. You watch the buses to see where they are to make sure you won’t be late for work and ALL the buses disappear off the tracker and won’t re-show! Drivers are very pleasant and polite. Thank you I just wish I could use my senior bus pass before 0930 so can get to medical appointments and not be limited to later than 1030 appointments. Hull residents have that advantage over us. The app saves a lot of standing around at bus stops as you can see where the bus is and how many minutes before it gets to a required stop. Many thanks. The bus tracking is super useful and I can plan when I can set off rather than rely on the timetable and wait around for a long time. I recently learnt that you can add the bus routes you use as favourites and it shows all the lines you’ve favourited and the live bus tracking. ### 5/5 — £2 bus fare and tracker *2024-02-17, version 59* What a service!!!! Driver was courteous throughout and knew all the passengers by name and where to drop them in their respective villages. Made the journey very pleasant. Saturday 11-11-23 at 11:50. The only downside was it was the only journey not on the timetable displays at Sow Hill.
