Not even worth free. Avoid this and save your sanity. **Developer response:** We worked with a historical crime consultant and the descendants of the victims of the crime. The script was written from coroners reports, newspaper articles and letters written by the victims, the perpetrator, and the doctors who assessed him in 1899. Assuming you are referring to the first people’s acknowledgment at the start of the game - in which case best of luck to you, our games are not for you. ### 2/5 — Constant Crashing *2023-02-25, version 1.0.1* After making our way onsite to the second location the app crashed. When you restart it does not pick up where you left off. Tried again later running app in offsite mode, made it to 3rd location before it froze and crashed again. Restart takes you back to the beginning! Very frustrating. ### 4/5 — Fun for the whole family *2021-05-29, version 1.0* Our family of 4 enjoyed learning about this true crime and solving the crime, whilst finding the real-life locations in the city. We had a little trouble collecting objects on-site but came home and played the off-site version all the way through. This is the first AR game we have played so might have come down to our inexperience as well! The AR is an interesting twist, and there is a feature to use the GPS if you happen to be in Australia visiting the actual crime scenes that I’m sure would be very cool...if one happens to be there. The virtual characters were amazing and the story line kept us guessing. We had the pleasure of playing the first true crimes game a few years ago in Melbourne CBD, just as good offline and in person. Awesome fun and recommend to everyone. We loved playing this during lockdown, when we could pretend to be out and about in old time Melbourne. So engaging for adults and children alike. We can’t wait to get into Melbourne and walk the city whilst playing, but it was just as fun to explore it virtually and solve the crime!
