Aurora Compass rebuilt: the disc now shows the sky above you, from horizon to zenith, instead of a flat map. It's accurate at every latitude, the forecast is interpolated for finer detail, and each probability now comes with how high to look and how far away it is.

Solar wind data is back

Solar wind readings — speed, density, Bz and Bt — stopped loading after NOAA retired the data feed the app relied on. Everything now reads from their new feed, and the charts are live again.

NOAA also switches between several spacecraft stationed at the L1 point, so the app now shows which one the current data is coming from instead of always naming DSCOVR.

We're sorry for the blank charts. Thank you for your patience, and for the reports that helped us track this down.
