However, there is no reconciliation feature which, for me, defeats the purpose of an app like this. ### 2/5 — Can't Delete Accounts *2015-02-17, version 1.8* This app needs to be updated so accounts that are no longer valid or active for a user can be removed or deleted!!! ### 2/5 — Can't Print Reports *2015-02-10, version 1.8* This was a good program but now you can't export reports. It's a pain having to type them in over and over. Give me an option please to select "repeating bill". Repeat end date. We have this for bills on bill pay. I found this one and the price was right so I decided to buy it! I totally love it! It is very easy to use...simple and clean! I love the area where you can make two lists if you like. I am glad my old app messed up since this one is way better and less of a headache! You could add iCloud or Dropbox sync to protect entries and a password would be great. Enter daily and it does the rest. No brainwork. One thing I would request the creator of this app is to consider Password usage upon entering the app for safety. Other apps that were free, but complicated, had them. This would definitely entice users even more. But for the price it can't be beat!!!!! ### 4/5 — NOT BAD! *2011-11-14, version 1.5* Not a bad little app this. Fairly simple to use. It could do with a few changes in the settings menu though. The ability to change the currency would be good as would also being able to change the date format (not all of us are in the USA!). Also, would like to have the ability to input repeat descriptions as you can with payees as there are certain items that I buy on a regular basis. Having deposits in black and withdrawals in red would also be a good idea as well. One last thing, I've been using this app to keep track of my receipts on a project I've been working on which means I don't need the Ck# column, wish I could delete it! I can't put $10,49; it will be: $1049,00. ### 1/5 — Try Again! Please!! *2010-10-27, version 0* This app could be very effective if it worked properly. You should be able to add from the "Update Item" screen and once a payee has been used it should be auto-fill from then on. Currently, when you are making a withdrawal them amount is added rather than subtracted from the balance. Oh, another thing; the check number should be auto fill once the first number has been entered. One last thing; Descriptions should be recorded and made to be auto filled after the first entry of that description. ### 1/5 — Don't waste your money *2010-10-26, version 0* Never again will I buy an unreviewed app. I was looking for a simple, but well designed check book app. I assumed certain features would be in any checkbook register. I was wrong. This app is terribly designed and not worth even a dollar. I feel cheated and with no recourse. 1. There is no way to date the initial balance. The designer simply forgot to add it. 2. The app only allows you to track one account. 3. You have to open an entirely new window to add a payee rather than the app simply automatically adding each payee that you enter into the register. These are the defects I've found after only one hour of using it. I expect that I'll find many more if I bother to continue using this app. Clearly Apple has no quality control. This designer simply threw up a sloppily designed, barely useful piece of software in hopes of duping a few idiots like me into parting with a buck. I want my dollar back! This app should be pulled from the app store. ### 2/5 — Not for Me *2015-12-28, version 1.9* I use a relatively outdated app called InstaFunds+ that doesn't support landscape orientation. This one does (as seen in the screenshots), so I bought it. It is very basic, which I like - I just need to keep track of the balance on my account. I couldn't tell what certain buttons did, because the developer uses a lot of shorthand to describe functions. My main problem is with the export function. It seems there are 9 options and none of them make sense to me, so I exported all the options. I saw them in iTunes file sharing, and many of them just had zero values (instead of deposit/withdrawl information). The fact that they export as TXT files made it so I couldn't line up the columns correctly (probably because I don't know how to use Excel well enough). I deleted the 9 files in iTunes file sharing (plus a few more), and my transactions got deleted, so I'm not sure why that happened. InstaFunds+ exports the files as a CSV, and Excel handles those well, so I guess I'm sticking with that app, albeit without landscape mode. I'm using iOs 6.1.3, so the developer may have addressed the issues I'm having, with unsupported updated versions the app. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — The Best *2021-06-29, version 1.9.1* I needed a simple place to do just a little personal record keeping. This app is PERFECT. It is simple to navigate and I thoroughly appreciate that. One question, I filled the 10 accounts and wondered if I can add 3 or 4 more. Just asking. This is the BEST one I've found! Several things would GREATLY improve this app. 1. Have negative balance in RED instead of in parentheses. 2. Way to make the font larger. 3. Way to archive months or by date that have been reconciled.
