You do have to take phone off silent to make noise but not much the developer can do for that. Just flip sound switch, play sound, then flip back to silent. I did 1 set of contact calls. A mature doe ran to my stand. I never had them run. My day was cut short with a total time of 1 hour outside that day. Now I know it was just the perfect scenario but it happened and I was shocked a recording actually made deer run to my location. Good easy to use app overall. Nothin. Please try the new version and let us know if it got the necessary UI Love. ### 4/5 — Love it - but... *2015-11-05* I used this app to call on a group of does during bow season in Michigan - works VERY well (however) is like to keep my phone switched to silent well still being able to use the app (if the phone is switched to silent, the app doesn't play any sound - with the phone switched to ring (the switch on the side of most iPhones) it works great but you have to remember to disable reminders, text notifications, etc).
