pegelWERK easy EDITOR is a focused audio cutter for radio, podcast and
post-production work — built around two standout features:
broadcast-grade EBU R128 loudness normalisation, and a seamless
round-trip pairing with its companion app pegelWERK instant PLAYER.
Open any audio file from the Files app, trim to the section you
want, normalise to EBU R128 (-23 LUFS) with inter-sample peak
protection, and export a clean 24-bit WAV — all on iPhone or
iPad, all on-device.

EBU R128 NORMALISATION — BROADCAST-GRADE, IN YOUR POCKET

Tap the R128 toggle, hit EXPORT, and easy EDITOR delivers a file
that meets EBU R128 / ITU-R BS.1770-4 loudness targets — exactly
-23 LUFS Integrated, with true-peak headroom verified against
4x oversampling. The processing chain measures the source,
applies static gain to land on target, then runs the audio
through a look-ahead true-peak limiter so no inter-sample peak
exceeds -1 dBTP. A second refine pass corrects the residual
offset the limiter introduces, so the final file lands exactly
on target — not "close enough". This is the same loudness
pipeline broadcast engineers run on dedicated hardware, on a
phone you already own, without a subscription.

While a live show is loaded in instant PLAYER, tap CHOOSE there,

easy EDITOR in one step. Trim the silence, set sample-accurate
IN / OUT handles, normalise to -23 LUFS — then tap SEND BACK.
instant PLAYER springs to the foreground and drops the edited
audio straight back into the same pad, cue point and colour
preserved. No exporting, no file-juggling, no broken takes.
Cleaning up a cue takes seconds and the show file stays the
single source of truth.
