### 4/5 — Black Letters instead of white

*2026-05-01, version 3.8*

I paid for the full version of this app. I love this app. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is as when you type your name you have white font instead of the black font. Please change back to the black font so it is easier to read. (2). Secondly, it won’t let me put the whole date of birth in, just 2 numbers only. Please fix these 2 issues. Thank you.

### 3/5 — Good but…

*2024-07-23, version 3.8*

You can’t put 2 fathers or 2 mothers of a child, that’s the only down fall of the app. Please sort this if possible

### 2/5 — Family book

*2024-06-24, version 3.8*

It’s okay except you have to add everyone again when you click on a different parent

### 4/5 — Like it so far, but PLEASE FIX:

*2022-09-18, version 3.8*

Can there be a setting to turn the text black? I want to see it! Or, make the rest of the app (NOT WHITE WRITING!) a bit darker. Ty!

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2022-03-28, version 3.8*

Why can’t I see all of the members of the tree together?

### 4/5 — Perfect app for sims with 1 flaw

*2022-02-28, version 3.8*

Text is white can't change the color nor read the name on the tree, change the text color to black & it be perfect!

### 4/5 — Great App

*2021-11-07, version 3.8*

Good app only 1 hidden cost and it is £2.99

### 3/5 — Bruh

*2021-09-13, version 3.8*

It’s good and easy and all, but I don’t have a spouse, specifically because I’m 11.

### 4/5 — Nice

*2021-09-12, version 3.8*

It would be cool if more features, like notes, were added though.

### 4/5 — Great

*2021-02-28, version 3.7*

Very applicable & use full great app

### 4/5 — Very Pleased

*2019-12-23, version 3.7*

Works really well on the iPad and iPhone. Data can be saved and restored from iCloud.

### 3/5 — Alright

*2016-03-27, version 2.0*

This app is alright but it gets a bit confusing once you start to add everything on.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Font problems

*2026-02-04, version 3.8*

While filling in the information on the page, the font is white and you cannot see what you’re typing. Can’t get really any further, so I don’t have much more to say about it. I’ll just move on.

### 1/5 — can anyone please tell me how to use this app?

*2021-05-04, version 3.8*

I love the visual appeal of this programme.
But how do I import a gedcom into this programme? There are no instructions at all.

### 1/5 — Crap

*2018-12-27, version 3.2*

I just purchased upgrade $3.99 and don’t have additional options to add brothers or sisters for grandparents, would like to get refund.

### 1/5 — Upgrade Cost

*2018-11-17, version 3.2*

Can't find anywhere what the price to upgrade? Shouldn't be this difficult to find!

### 1/5 — One star

*2018-03-01, version 2.4*

Easy to use, I would of liked to see the hole project together though not just one bit at a time

### 1/5 — Uses wack US style dating system. M/D/Y

*2017-11-16, version 2.1.1*

I was enjoying adding my family tree to this app, until I noticed that all the dates were presenting wrong. The app uses he odd U.S. Style dating format where the month is placed first, followed by the day then the year.... I wondered if this was common so I looked it up... It isn't. The system we use here in Australia is basically the same as the vast majority of the world, D/M/Y. Not sure why they had to do it differently in the US, but it makes the date 10/6/1873 (10th of June 1873) into October 6th 1873. Completely screws everything and makes the app virtually unusable. Would probably cause major confusion for US citizens transposing records for British or European ancestors, as everywhere in Europe used the D/M/Y format in the past, with just a few changing recently to Y/M/D. Only the US uses M/D/Y!

### 1/5 — Family book

*2016-09-13, version 2.0*

Useless,
Won't let you EDIT doesn't work.
Looks good but poor, causes too much duplication of names and information.

### 1/5 — WASTE OF TIME/STORAGE

*2016-07-23, version 2.0*

### 1/5 — No good

*2016-02-13, version 2.0*

Can't do anything with it. Badly designed.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2014-07-05, version 1.1*

You have to know all birth dates and more. It's merely a template. I am going to delete.

*2023-07-25, version 3.8*

Love this program. How can I print the information I’ve entered? Have over 1500 entries so far but would like to print the trees off and have them in printed form for family to enjoy also.

### 5/5 — Love it

### 5/5 — Easy to use

Useful and easy to use to use.

### 5/5 — Great basic app for a family tree

*2021-04-02, version 3.8*

Have done my full tree on ancestry but this is a great way to share with my family, the basic info without them having to subscribe.
No crashes so far and I’ve added over 200 people onto the tree

### 5/5 — Nice App

*2020-09-27, version 3.7*

A Family Tree which you can store in your iCloud and add multiple families which other apps couldn’t do. No sign up necessary which is a plus. Your own family tree which you can store and use in your other devices, I hope the developers continues to progress where other apps have failed.

### 5/5 — Two thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼 😃

*2019-08-16, version 3.7*

This is a GREAT app! 😄 It allows you to go back as many generations as is wanted/needed. This app also does not restrict two parents to one child. You can add as many children/siblings, - or spouses if the parents are divorced - as you want! You have to upgrade for more than two family trees, but that is really all I need right now.

On the main page, you have the Family Trees in list form. You can name them, for example, Smith Family Tree or Applebee Family Tree. Then you click or tap on one of them. Next, you have mom/dad, their parents, and then mom/dad's child/children in a Family Tree form. Once you click on a person, it makes them the biggest and you have *their* family tree. You click again and you can go to their ancestry (family tree in a different form), relations ("me", "grand/parents", "spouses", etc.), or you can edit them further.

All in all, if you are looking for a simple Family Tree app, that allows you add as many generations as you need or want, and to add as many children or siblings to a family as you please, then this is the app for you! 👍🏼
