The battery life is good. The constant connectivity issues is frustrating, as is the fact that it is hard to switch phones for streaming (personal iPhone vs work iPhone). Audio changes for 10 seconds in response to all kinds of phone events. If I receive a text or any notification, I hear the notification and then all audio cuts out, and then I get ambient audio at a loud setting, and then it returns to the volume setting I've selected in the app. It goes through this cycle for any notification. If I'm actually using my phone, the audio landscape changes for every app for different parts of the app, open maps - boom ambient audio spike! Open News - boom. Watching reels on Instagram the phone volume button seems disconnected from the video volume except to go from something to off. You have to lower the size to get it working. called the Support number for the manufacturer and they were not aware of the problem and couldn’t help me. Had to go to Costco and have the person there. Arrived defective and will ask for new full rep ### 1/5 — If only the app was as good as the hearing aids *2026-07-26* As a musician, I’ve used Sennheiser products for decades. High quality. The Sonite Rise aids seem high quality too so far. But the app is a disaster. Says it can’t connect when it’s already connected, and the alert banner stays on the screen, covering other functions. App switches presets on its own, unexpectedly and often — especially annoying and dangerous while driving. Half the time it won’t stream when streaming music on the iPhone even though the Bluetooth connection is solid, so the Streaming preset is unavailable then. Often when you select a preset other than Automatic Premium, everything but that preset is grayed out and inaccessible. My iOS and Sonite Rise are both up to date, and all other apps on my phone work fine. But this one is utterly disappointing. This is especially frustrating when the phone or tv is blasting and I can’t connect to control the volume. Mute does not work. Disappointed customer, more so because the hearing aids are quite expensive.
