## What is Easy Password Generator Pro?

Easy Password Generator builds passwords out of whole words joined by symbols — Grape-Timber-Wharf7 rather than x9$Kf2#p. Long enough to stand up to an offline attack, and far less painful to type on a TV remote, a games console, or somebody else's laptop.

Tap Generate until one you like comes up. Everything happens on your device: no account, no sync, no analytics, no ads, and nothing sent anywhere.

MAKING A PASSWORD
• Set an exact length, or a number of words — whichever you want
• Choose the shortest and longest words you want to see
• Choose which symbols may appear between the words, or allow a gap with no symbol at all
• Capitalise each word and add a trailing digit, for the sites that insist
• An "Includes" line shows at a glance whether the password has upper case, lower case, a digit and a symbol, so you know before you paste it whether the form will accept it

A STRENGTH FIGURE THAT MEANS SOMETHING
Most generators show a bar based on an attacker guessing character by character. This one counts how many different passwords your exact settings can produce and reports the number of bits that actually represents. Settings → How strength is estimated lays out what the attacker is assumed to know, what the estimate leaves out in your favour, and what no figure of this kind can cover.

KEEPING THE ONES YOU USE
The vault stores passwords on your device, encrypted with AES-GCM and opened with Face ID:
• Title, website, username, password and notes
• Folders, with colour coding
• Search across everything at once
• Sort by title, site, or when an entry was added or changed
• An encrypted backup file, protected by a passphrase of your choosing, that you can keep wherever you keep backups

PRIVACY
• No account, no registration, no email address
• Nothing is uploaded — there is no server to upload it to
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising
• Copied passwords stay on this device rather than travelling via Universal Clipboard, and clear themselves after a short time
• Randomness comes from the system's cryptographic random generator, not the ordinary one
• The vault key is held in the iOS keychain, requires your face or passcode to use, and by default never leaves the device

WHAT THIS APP IS NOT
It is not an AutoFill provider — iOS will not offer these passwords for you at a login screen, so you copy and paste. If you want something that fills forms automatically, use a full password manager. This is for making passwords that are easy to remember and easy to use.

Version 2.0 is a complete rebuild of the app.

YOUR SAVED PASSWORDS
They now live in encrypted storage on your device, opened with Face ID instead of the app password you used before. They move across by themselves the first time you unlock. If something from the old version does not appear, go to Settings → Vault → Import from the previous version — nothing from the old app is deleted until it has been imported and verified, so it is still there.

NEW
• Folders and colour coding in the saved list, with search and sorting
• An encrypted backup file you can keep somewhere of your own
• A strength figure that is calculated from your exact settings rather than estimated, with a page explaining exactly what it assumes
• You can now allow a gap with no symbol between words
• A password is generated when you tap Generate, so the list no longer changes under your finger while you are adjusting the length
• The saved-password vault is available here as a single purchase. If you already own Easy Password Generator Pro, it stays unlocked there and nothing about it changes.

FIXED
• A hang that could occur when no separator symbols were selected
• Passwords that could come out containing a blank word
• Editing or deleting a saved entry could overwrite a different one
• A quote mark in a saved website or username could corrupt the saved file
