## What is Easy Stage?

This app is divided in two parts: 
A very easy part presenting your music sheets in the order of your set list. A metronome helps you to count in. Get to the next song by simply swiping with your finger to the left. All this works offline.
The second part manages your music sheets stored local or on Dropbox. Your Dropbox files are downloaded to your local storage. Alternatively, you can drag files from your Mac or PC to the EasyStage directory on your iPad or iPhone using Finder or iTunes. You can create different set lists for each gig by dragging files to the concerning set list.

### 4.0 — 2022-01-10

The professional-version as in app purchase gets new additional features:
You can exchange any set lists between devices - including those of fellow musicians - via airdrop, mail or files.
There is a search function in the window where you organize your setlists.
 If you don't use a foot pedal, for example because you have an older device that doesn't support the latest Bluetooth version, then you can have your scores scroll automatically on a timed basis.

### 3.0 — 2021-05-18

Because Dropbox now requires iOS 12.0, I could no longer use my old iPad 2 on stage with Easy Stage. This, although its battery still lasts longer than the batteries of some newer tablets. So now I've added the ability to use Easy Stage without Dropbox. You just drag the files with the Finder or iTunes directly into the local EasyStage directory on the iPad. The app then automatically creates the appropriate database. 
I also added a search function at the request of Easy Stage fans.

### 2.2 — 2019-02-14

Improved download. Files, which are currently being transferred to Dropbox, are represented in gray.
Enhanced scrolling of documents with multiple pages.
In-app Purchases:
Take notes on a transparent sheet being placed over the actual sheet of music, while the original files are not modified.
Take different notes for individual sets using the same file.
Use a virtual keyboard, Apple pencil or your finger in order to write down your ideas. Synchronize your set lists across your devices using Dropbox.
Export your set lists as spreadsheet and share them with other musicians.
